Tonight I felt the need to go to the city with my camera and see what shots I might be able to get and kill two birds with the one stone, so to speak, and take a decent walk as well. I've just completed a wander around the city (with many stops for photos) and am sitting in a cafe enjoying (about to enjoy) a coffee and slice of legit cheesecake.
I enjoyed the walk, there's wasn't too many people about the place fortunately, although I was actually quite surprised at how few were actually around walking, in restaurants and cafe's...considering it's Saturday night I can only assume the economic environment is causing people to pull back on their entertainment spending; I wonder how many businesses will go under because of it; patronage seemed very low compared to usual.
Oh...here's my coffee and cheesecake, I better go and enjoy it and, besides, I've got my girl with me tonight and she deserves my attention, she's wearing...well, never you mind what she's wearing, it's totally legit though, and she deserves my eyes on her.
So, the photo was taken tonight on my Samsung S22 Ultra from the north side of the Torrens River looking back over the city. Kind of nice huh?

The first thing I saw were people in the lake. Seriously, look up there - there are lots of little people silhouettes made from the light reflections. Kinda creepy. I'm glad you survived. Maybe it isn't creepy, maybe it's some Lady of the Lake stuff, like Here is Excalibur... I hope not for your sake, because I think you'd really regret walking away without grabbing it.
If there were people in the lake I'd say they were bonkers; no one goes in there, although it's happened a time or two in the past...some have ended up as dead bodies feeding the ducks, or the bunyip that lives under the bank. (Google, bunyip)
Any mention of me and Excalibur is legit...if only I had such a sword, I'd wield it well, and for the right reasons...Alas, I'll have to rely upon other edged weapons until Excalibur comes into my possession.
Ah, the bunyip. Interesting. Hadn't heard that one, and I've read a lot of weird world myths to my kids. Yep another thing humans have come up with that represent our fears of swamps and the likes. Maybe it's just a bunch of little baby bunyips I'm seeing in that water.
And maybe Excalibur is just waiting for you to take a vacation to a lake in England? Who knows.
There's a few good Bunyip stories getting around, a search will find some and maybe your kids will like them. As for Excalibur...I was in the UK a little while ago and looked, I even went to Tingagel, but no luck. A break couldn't be had...but I'm not the give up type of guy. You know that. 😊

I don't know if it's the poor internet on my side or something wrong with Peakd but I can't see the coffee pic... I sure like the one with the lake. Smartphones these have really great cameras and in comparison with a regular mirorless or a DLSR are more portable. What editing app do you use(if any)?

The different colored lights reflected on the water looks cool. It is interesting that I can barely distinguish them when looking at the buildings. With a nice view, cake, and company, that seems like a very nice stroll outside.

A day back, I went to F-7 sector of city and there I enjoyed coffee along with cheese cake too, it was like killing two with one stone(🙂) .

Yes, it was no doubt a right thing to do. I was sitting on the terrace of restaurant and observing the world from there. People, streets and light. Perfect place to sit, think and to take coffee.

I love how lights and colours are reflected into the water: your phone does some really impressive photos, also considering it was night.
