The cake was shite!! One of my favourite cakes is sticky toffee pudding. So imagine my delight when I was told that dessert was... Sticky toffee pudding!!
But when it was served it was like a flaccid cheap sponge cake covered in a weird toffee sauce. I was so disappointed it reminded me of the time I was at a parents house for some party and they said "hey, would you like some tiramisu?" I was like hell yeah, that's my almost fave dessert. It came out and I tried it and it was just cream and sponge fingers. I said, it's weird, I can't taste the coffee at all.
The host was like, oh god no. We can't have coffee in it because of the little ones.
I was like, what the fuck is the point then!? 🤣🤣
Ok then, this is a serious matter. Shit cake at the parents in laws? Cheap-ass sponge shit with sticky shit drizzled on top? What the funk?
Worse still is the "tiramisu" that other heathen served you up. I hope your kids aren't friends with their kids anymore. I mean, who the fuck makes tiramisu without coffee? Everyone knows kids should be fed as much coffee as possible from a very early age and even if not...umm, did they ever think of making two fucking tiramisu's?
It's a problem occuring all around the world though I guess, the decline of decent cake and bastardisation of tiramisu. Obewan Kenobi would be mortified; no wonder he let Darth Vader fucken kill him with a light sabre.

Northerners mate, maybe the air is thinner up there, less sun (although there's only three minutes of sun all year anywhere in Scotland), or maybe they're a product of their own making, you know the cycle of bad cake compounding and making their grimmy side more prevalent causing the cake to get worse, and their grimmyness to get worse. Poor fuckers.
