Looks pretty adventurous! I "swam with the sharks" once in all places, Denver, Colorado. How? Well they promote it at the Denver Aquarium. The large fish, including a couple sharks, a huge swordfish and others are kind of swimming around in circles in this large tank. They take a group of people down and you kind of kneel in a trench that goes around the outside. Was able to touch them as they swam by. You're right about the power, incredible to feel them swim by in that environment. I can only imagine in open water. One thing when I had a nice solid wall behind me, not sure I'd enjoy as much with multiples lurking around.
I did get this cool T-shirt though... lol
Now the Maldives sounds like a trip I would enjoy. I've seen some videos of the cottages UNDER the water. Now that I'm in for. Bring the sharks on while I'm in the human Airquarium.
That sounds pretty cool as well, and the Tshirt is a great memory!
I haven't been in all those luxurious places when I went there, but I have seen pictures of those underwater restaurants and it seems pretty cool to enjoy breakfast while sharks are passing by!
Unfortunately, I only went to the local islands (which are pretty cool as well) It was the last month of my 7 months travel and this dives pretty much took my last money 😅
Yes, breakfast with the sharks would be great. It's on my "When I win the Lottery" list, or maybe when Hive passes the moon and hits Pluto levels!
Yess I hope so! But for now I would already be happy if Hive goes back to the 1,5 USD.
Anyway, Maafusi is actually an affordable maldivian island with affordable rooms. The island isn't picture perfect but they offer awesome tours, You get to see nurse sharks and dolphins. If you go only one or two nights to a resort, it is still quite doable. Ohh can I go back already!
