Generally I try to make Sundays calm and restful days, but when the weather is nice I allow myself to break this rule and go for a walk. This weekend my friend and I got together to catch up after I had been traveling all week, and as always I could not miss food to better enjoy the moment (so no one can maintain a slim figure 😂).
Generalmente intento que los domingos sean días tranquilos y de descanso, pero cuando el clima está lindo me permito romper esta regla y salir a pasear un poco. Este fin de semana mis amiga y yo nos reunimos para ponernos al día después de que yo estuve toda la semana de viaje, y como siempre no podía faltar la comida para disfrutar mejor del momento (así nadie puede mantener la figura esbelta 😂).
Actually, we were partying late last night (for a change), so today our day started quite late. Hangover Sundays are usually slow, but we didn't want to miss out on the nice weather that made us shut up all day, so around 5PM we started looking for a place to have lunch.
En realidad, anoche estuvimos de fiesta hasta tarde (para variar), por lo que hoy nuestro día empezó bastante tarde. Los domingos de resaca suelen ser lentos, pero no queríamos desaprovechar el lindo clima que hacía encerradas todo el día, así que alrededor de las 5PM emprendimos la búsqueda de un lugar para almorzar.
Here and anywhere in the world this time is too late for lunch, but luckily we got a small bar that served food even at snack time. We hadn't realized it was so late until our hunger was very evident 😂.
Aquí y en cualquier parte del mundo este horario es muy tarde para el almuerzo, pero afortunadamente conseguimos un pequeño bar que servía comida incluso a la hora de la merienda. No nos habíamos dado cuenta de que era tan tarde hasta que nuestro hambre fue muy evidente 😂.
I always like to go to new places, I like to be surprised by everything. I had never been to this bar so I was free to order whatever I wanted. We started with a starter of mozzarella sticks that were delicious.
Siempre me gusta ir a lugares nuevos, me gusta sorprenderme con todo. Nunca había ido a este bar así que tenía la libertad de pedir lo que quisiera. Empezamos con una entrada de bastones de muzzarella que estaban deliciosos.
Far from ordering something light, we both decided to eat pasta. Stuffed pastas are my favorite and this bar offered a great number of them. I chose some chicken and vegetable cannelloni and my friend some noodles. The portions were quite generous, something I like to see in restaurants. I hate gourmet-size food, bring me a plate that overflows 😂.
Lejos de pedir algo liviano, las dos decidimos comer pastas. Las pastas rellenas son mis favoritas y este bar ofrecía una gran cantidad de ellas. Yo elegí unos canelones de pollo y verduras y mi amiga unos fideos. Las porciones eran bastante abundantes, algo que me gusta ver en los restaurantes. Odio la comida en tamaño gourmet, a mí tráiganme un plato que rebalse 😂.
We ended up more than satisfied and heavy after the flour boom. Anyway, I think it was a good choice because at least I don't eat stuffed pasta every day. We took advantage of the snack-lunch to catch up and I told her about my trip in great detail 😂.
Terminamos más que satisfechas y pesadas después del boom de harina. De todos modos, creo que fue una buena elección porque por lo menos yo, no como pastas rellenas todos los días. Aprovechamos la merienda-almuerzo para ponernos al día y le conté todo mi viaje con lujo de detalles 😂.
Then we decide to walk a bit so that the food settles. Walking around the center of the city, we found a club where the final of a women's soccer tournament was being played. We thought it would be a good idea to go in and see so we did. While I was there I felt some guilt for having eaten so much and seeing such athletic women run so easily. I'll see if the fault was enough to return to my daily training 😂.
Después decidimos caminar un poco para que la comida se asiente. Dando vueltas por el centro de la ciudad encontramos un club en donde se estaba jugando la final de un torneo de fútbol femenino. Pensamos que sería buena idea entrar a ver así que eso hicimos. Mientras estaba ahí sentí algo de culpa por haber comido tanto y ver a esas mujeres tan atléticas correr con tanta facilidad. Veré si la culpa fue tanta como para retomar con mi entrenamiento diario 😂.
On the other hand, while I was traveling my mom was using my sewing machine and it broke. Again it is a problem with the strap, the same as always. Therefore, I will not have any sewing projects until I fix it (surely tomorrow I will take it to the mechanic because I do not like to spend so much time without sewing 😂). The only thing that remains for me now is to wait until they do not charge me so much for the arrangement please 😅.
Por otra parte, mientras estaba de viaje mi mamá estaba usando mi máquina de coser y se rompió. Otra vez es problema con la correa, lo mismo que siempre. Por lo tanto, no tendré proyectos de costura hasta que la arregle (seguramente mañana la lleve al mecánico porque no me gusta pasar tanto tiempo sin coser 😂). Lo único que me resta ahora es esperar a que no me cobren tanto por el arreglo por favor 😅.
