"New year, new life" some say to give full importance to one more turn around the sun. Well, I consider myself part of that people, perhaps not so exaggeratedly, but the beginning of the year always seem like good opportunities to set some goals and carry out balances of the goals that we had proposed the previous year. Fortunately, this year I had a very positive balance and I hope that 2022 will be even much better than 2021 ❤️.
"Año nuevo, vida nueva" suelen decir algunos para darle total importancia a una vuelta más alrededor sol. Bien, me considero parte de la gente, quizás no tan exageradamente pero siempre los principios de año me parecen buenas oportunidades para plantearse algunas metas y realizar balances de las metas que nos habíamos propuesto el año anterior. Afortunadamente, este año tuve un balance muy positivo y espero que el 2022 sea aún mucho mejor que el 2021 ❤️.
What stands out the most about this end of the year as opposed to the end of the previous year is my mental stability. I think the chaos that started in my life in 2020 has finally settled down and now I can say that I am fine. As much as to be active all day this December 31, from morning to night and even until dawn. This year for the first time I was in charge of making the entire New Year's Eve dinner. And when I say everything is everything 😅.
Lo que más se destaca de este fin de año a diferencia del fin de año anterior es mi estabilidad mental. Creo que el caos que empezó en mi vida en 2020 al fin se acomodó y ahora puedo decir que estoy bien. Tanto como para estar todo el día activa este 31 de diciembre, desde la mañana hasta la noche e incluso hasta la madrugada. Este año por primera vez me encargué de hacer toda la cena de fin de año. Y cuando digo toda es toda 😅.
As always, I was going to spend dinner with my dad, but I also wanted to help out at home before I left. That is why my little sister and I told my mother not to worry, that we would cook everything so she could rest during the afternoon. Guys, around here it was over 35 ° C, so being in the kitchen all day was not so nice but with patience I was able to cook for a whole battalion although the food would only be for 3 😂.
Como siempre, yo iba a pasar la cena con mi papá, pero también quería ayudar en mi casa antes de irme. Es por eso que mi hermanita y yo le dijimos a mi mamá que no se preocupe, que nosotras cocinaríamos todo así ella podía descansar durante la tarde. Chicos, por aquí hicieron más de 35°C, por lo que estar en la cocina todo el día no fue tan lindo pero con paciencia pude cocinar para todo un batallón aunque la comida solo sería para 3 😅.
I'm not a great cook but when I cook I do it with a lot of love. On my menu I included pot roast, empanadas and the traditional sweet and sour roll that cannot be missed at parties. Although I was trying the preparations as I made them, by the time I finished I didn't feel like eating any of that, just having a little water because I really got tired 😂.
No soy gran cocinera pero cuando cocino lo hago con mucho amor. En mi menú incluí carne a la cacerola, empanadas y el tradicional arrollado agridulce que no puede faltar en las fiestas. Si bien iba probando las preparaciones a medida que las hacía, para cuando terminé no tenía ganas de comer nada de todo eso, solo tomar un poco de agua porque de verdad me cansé 😂.

When I finished doing everything, I went to the other side of the city to spend the night with my father and my brothers. It was a beautiful evening: the menu there was quite similar to what I had been preparing all day, so unlike Christmas, this time I did not eat as much (better for my figure) 😂.
Cuando terminé de hacer todo fui hasta el otro lado de la ciudad a pasar la noche con mi papá y mis hermanos. Fue una linda velada: el menú que había allí era bastante parecido al que había estado preparando todo el día, así que a diferencia de Navidad, esta vez no comí tanto (mejor para mi figura) 😂.

After the midnight toast we met up with some friends. Like last year, I was able to see my best friend Sofía and start the new year together, hoping that 2022 arrives with many new adventures and that our traveling goal of knowing the south of Argentina is fulfilled. We are intentional and working for it, dear universe ⭐️.
Después del brindis de medianoche nos reunimos con algunos amigos. Al igual que el año pasado, pude ver a mi mejor amiga Sofía y empezar el año nuevo juntas, deseando que este 2022 llegue con muchas aventuras nuevas y que se cumpla nuestro objetivo viajero de conocer el sur de Argentina. Lo estamos intencionando y trabajando para ello, querido universo ⭐️.
We stayed playing cards and drinking a few drinks until dawn. Later I could say that Saturday practically did not exist because I was in bed / sleeping / watching Netflix all day. Just today I came back to life and because I had to prepare my participation for tomorrow's contest in our Needle Work Monday community. If not, she probably would have been lying down for a while. And this is how, subtly, January has already got us almost 3 days 😂.
Nos quedamos jugando cartas y bebiendo algunas copas hasta el amanecer. Después podría decir que el sábado prácticamente ni exisitió porque estuve todo el día acostada/durmiendo/viendo Netflix. Recién hoy volví a la vida y porque tenía que preparar mi participación para el concurso de mañana en nuestra comunidad Needle Work Monday. Sino, probablemente hubiese seguido acostada otro rato . Y así es como, sutilmente, Enero ya nos metió casi 3 días 😂.

Hahahaha I just saw this, sorry. They were delicious, although in the photo they look somewhat burned, do not get carried away by that 😂😂😂😂. The filling is minced meat, onion, bell pepper, garlic, hard-boiled egg, olives and plenty of seasonings. The good thing about this is that each filling has its own unique flavor despite using the same ingredients. Long live the empanadas 💛.

Bueno déjame decirte que cocinas mejor que yo, o por lo menos eso se deja ver en las fotos, a mi el 50% de lo que hago se me quema.
Jajaja y pensar que el enero de 2021 se me había hecho eterno 😅! Y no sé si cocino bien, solo le pongo mucha onda. Tenía un poco de miedo con la carne en la olla pero la puse en mínimo y dos horas estuvo cocinandose pero quedó riquísimaaaaa ❤️.

You really had a great time out celebrating with family and friends during the new year Eve, and I understand it be tiring cooking for a great battalion of 3🤣, though I most confess this dishes looks yummy and inviting, and sure it's gonna be delicious as well 😋 .
Has a guy, I don't really like cooking, cause most time when I do, the aroma of the food fills my stomach and I ended up not eating much, which is always disappointing because I love food and am not watching my weight like you're 😂.

It's exactly what happened to me, so much work cooking and then I'm not hungry anymore. So if it is something super delicious I try not to participate in the preparation hahahahaha. And the weight is not a problem, there are clothes for all sizes 😂😂😂. Greetings!
