I'm not sure on the photos but you're creative so it should be possible. Maybe shake your head around really hard in the hope that is falls off and before it rolls away grab a snap. Although, for this to work you'd need to have your phone camera to hand and already open and ready to snap. If you do not, this whole idea would just be stupid.
Tried that just now, but I got an even better idea. I tied my phone to my head and switched to video settings. Then I started shaking my head, it took ages before it came off and by the time it did, my phone had ran out of battery and the only footage I got was a lot of blurry surroundings. Will have to think of a better idea. Maybe tie a power bank to my head as well
