Seeing others stealing from a company you work in is really frustrating because at that moment, you will realize they aren't serious and wanting the growth of the company and for you who understands the company and are appreciative to your boss, it's important to fish out the culprit before it's too late.

Though it's normal seeing some people not liking you for what you did, that doesn't matter as long as you have saved the company's face from going down.

Totally agree with you. Besides, allowing such actions to take place with no consequences would increase a vibe of dishonesty in the group that would likely stimulate similar situations
