RE: What and where

Just reading how your weekend has been @galenkp , I feel peace 💫 and hunger 😅

It has happened to me that with so many things I do during the week, sometimes I get really tired on the weekend and don't enjoy it as much as I should, even though my husband and I always try to do something special.

I really think moments like that are what we need to get over the hecticness of the week. And if there's pizza 😁 well... I already got hungry again 😅

Your post gave me an idea to write about today. Thank you! 🤗

I believe it to be my responsibility to ensure my commitments are met and that I'm doing so with the utmost of my skill, energy and dedication...I also believe I have a responsibility to myself to find relaxation, reflection, enjoyment, excitement and so on in my life, at all times. I don't live to work, I work to live, to have the means to make choices that enhance my life...or to laze around in my hammock all day.

I don't always need to be doing something, it's small things that combine to make bigger things and those small things (moments) can be easily found; I found some today.

I hope you find some small moments to reverse the effects of your working week.

Thank you! 🤗 You are right, my friend. That's why your phrase says "don't live it by default" (life), right?

It's living with awareness, even our rest.

That's one of my mom's phrases: don't live to work.

Your mom is a smart woman.
