It’s really nice that you were allowed to explore your independence when you were younger without giving you the idea of being perfect. I hope parents learn that.

It was a nice way to grow up; don't think I didn't get told though because I did...It's just that they helped me explore with their guidance rather than direct me where to go. I htink I turned out ok. Mostly.
Thanks for commenting.
That’s nice to hear. God bless your parents. Have a great day today
Unfortunately they are both gone now, but I carry them with me in my actions, attitudes and ethos, so they live on. Thanks and have a great Sunday also.
Sorry to hear that.
We'll all go that way, it's inevitable and is why I live the best version of my life I possible can. :)
Thank you, they are no longer suffering, which they were at the end, so it's ok. They're not where they once were, but now they're everywhere I go because I carry their memories with me.
This just touched me. Giving me a different perspective. Well I need to cherish my parents better now and try to do better as their child.
I believe in telling those I cherish and value that I do so because one never knows when the chance to do so will be taken from us. Life is fickle.
