I've had my fair share of harassment from men, mostly emotional, sometimes aggressive, one man used to come to my truck, when I was home alone with my girls and scream at me, accusing me of taking his stuff which I never did, he would always find it later but never apologise. This went on for a few months, until I said I was going to move, when the owners of the land found out, they told him to move instead. He no longer harassed me at my home, but he did his best to turn other people against me.
It's been a long journey for me, learning to stand in my power, it all started with me being physically abused by my dad to be honest. Then having these men in my life who were forcing me to deal with my lack of boundaries and obvious self worth.
It's great that you are there for your friend, she is lucky to have you x
It's a sad fact that most women have been harassed in some way at some point; men can be dick heads I guess. It's good that you're chap was moved on but bad that (probably predictably) he reacted vengefully. Par for the course with people that think harassment it ok.
I get the impression you've come a long way, found out more about yourself and probably changed a little in the process and that's not a bad thing; well done and all the best for future progression.
