English language teaching is very poor, just the basics. I couldn't read a post in English, because between the idiomatic phrases I don't know and the words that play on a text with writing resources I don't think I would understand even 10% of it.

Ah ok, I figured as much but wasn't sure, it must make things very time consuming having to translate things.
All the time. We live thanks to deppl haha although there is a Cuban who made a programme to translate and format. I don't use it because it translates very few words at a time and this slows me down a lot. Most of the posts are in English and Spanish so that I can reach more people and avoid the work of translation.
I'll be honest and say I rarely open a post in dual language, only those from whom I know post well. I have a couple pet hates though:
hidden text. She's a smart
asscookie. Lol.I like how @nanixxx does it...Writes the post in one language as a body of text, but adds the translation inYes, she is very good. I have learned a lot from her advice. I will start using this code in the future, thank you very much.
It gives the reader choice without having to scroll down to find the text/language they need. For someone like me who reads a lot of posts it helps.
Perfect. I had seen it, but it works if you read it in Peakd, because it doesn't work in ecency. Although I don't use it much, I prefer PEAKD. Thanks again. 😊
Yeah, I prefer Peakd also.
😅😂 @galenkp, smart {this} hahaha... I guess that should always use cushion, talcum powder and perfume.
Thank you ✨🍷
Smart ass or smart cookie? Which is it?
I know smart ass is a phrase used to refer to someone who is clever, sharp, brainy... but the truth is that a cookie with talcum powder and perfume doesn't taste good. So, #sploosh-ass is convenient.
😂
Galenkp a hurricane named Idalia (what a bad woman) wants to swallow us. Google Havana, Hurricane, Idalia.
In the next few hours I may be offline without electricity until I don't know when.
Lol...One must sploosh when one has the opportunity because the opportunity may not last.
Idalia you bloody rascal! Well, it looks like you folks (Florida also) are in for a wild time, flooding winds and all. Hopefully y'all hunker down and stay safe. Pass on my best wishes to all the Cuban Hive people you know, I assume you're in contact with many of them.
