quite honestly, Ive seen it be more fun for newbies who are longing to be seen and engaged with on their posts.
so since you've been around a bit...hehehe, you might be quite happy with the crowd you have and already have a sufficient engagement.
when that's the case, I see that it's not as alluring to the veteran Hivers... because they don't really need any more engagement, and aren't really looking to be exposed to new people to add to their tribe
having said that- there ARE some who enjoy being exposed to new writers and instead of going to look for it, they simply sign onto DreemPort and have 5 people given to them!
and it's random... so thats kind of our special thing!
no followers, no friends, no gaming the system, it's simply read 5 random posts....and then evaluate them!
when you see something that doesn't have enough written content to evaluate (because that's what DreemPort focuses on ...written content first) then reject it.
If it has enough, then accept!
then after you've read... put them in the order of which you liked best.
everyone else will be doing that too! in random selections of the same readers pitted against different pairings!
we think this gives the best and truest ranking of the posts.
the top 5 of the day receive dreem tokens.
and it's not just about ranking others.... after you've created your 5 posts, we want you to submit yours too!
maybe it will help you extend your tribe and attract new readers as well!
all posts are screened for plagiarism and are ensured to meet Community Guidelines.
then they're put into the pool for the next day to be given out randomly to the Dreemers who sign on that day to curate and submit again!
(well..this happens Monday-Fridsy....I think we are the only site in the world that is closed on Weekends hahahahaha..yep..closed! we do this to let everyone... including staff, enjoy offline life!)
we also have a monthly challenge where we invite our dreemers to "try out" a new community! we focus on that community for one day a week, 3 weeks in the month. and we hope that the community is attractive enough for our dreemers to excite a few to stay.
this helps DreemPort by keeping it interesting.... helps Hive by getting attention to more communities, and helps the community spread their fun!
that's what happened when Bluefinstudios shared the Garden community with DreemPort a few months back ☺️❤️🌱
last month we were shining the light on ecoTrain and this month we are with Market Friday ☺️
there are a few other things that happen behind the scenes...ways to earn tokens and such... but I think this comment is already too long hahahhahaha
