I did all this using Ibispaint X, a Samsung Galaxy S8+ tablet and a digital pen.

Let's get started! :)
The Pink Poodle and several dozens of its race live in a hidden village underground.
Rumors state that their last ruler, whose leadership only lasted for two flimsy weeks, ruled in fear.
That made this village, that was once a kingdom, super vulnerable.
Other more respected kingdoms wanted the Purple Poodle's super inhabited portion of land for their own reasons.
The poodles knew that they had already lost, if other kingdoms wanted to bomb the poodle's kingdom they could! Whenever apetite came to the other rulers.
Instead of doing it fairly, like giving the poodles the right amount of money for the right amount of land, they just invaded that piece of land they wanted, made all the inhabitants there scram, and take it as their own. Free of cost.
The millisecond that happened, the Purple Poodle's own people threw him off the castle!
What about royal guards? I'll just say that these poodles couldn't even feed themselves, imagine hiring and giving an actual salary!
The other more powerful and greedy rulers decided to invade and bomb other parts of the poodle's land.
" What now?! They think we're sardines?! " someone recalled an old lady poodle who wasn't very hilarious complain while having a cigarette in her mouth.
As the other rulers kept bombing the land, the inhabitans of that bombed land went to another unbombed land, like the Three Little Pigs, just that it seemed endless, and they were poodles, not pigs.
While all the bombing happened, several poodles passed away.
The breaking point of all the natives was when another kingdom bombarded the poodle's oldest most medieval school, there were so many memories in that school, all destroyed in one boom !
The locals decided to dig underground and live there, the enemies thought that all the poodles had died, so they took away the remaining of the poodle's land.
No, the poodles didn't fight back, their resoures sucked anyway, they had no hope on getting back what was theirs.
Present Day..
Now all the poodles had lived in an underground village for the past decade.
They have reproduced new poodles sufficiently and accordingly.
They work every day in their underground bakery baking (uhh..) underground bread for their young and themselves.
The Pink Poodle hated that.
He was always rebellious, not following rules, and not doing chores was his way of life.
One day while Pink Poodle was molding bread he got fed up with, what else, molding bread!
He wanted other rulers to see his "soon to be kingdom" a powerful territory, not a joke.
He thought of a good plan.
He was determined to be a powerful and wealthy ruler, not just some hairy baker.
The Pink Poodle trained how to get back his own kingdom
Pink Poodle trained like there was no tomorrow and six months later he was oficially ready.
He knocked on every kingdom's door and conquered every nearby kingdom's ruler.
Until his village was the only one left standing.
The poodles gathered all the materials left from the other defeated kingdoms and slowly, but surely, constructed their own kingdom.
They weren't scavengers, they were poodles in need!
Nobody works for a sweaty 24/7 bakery job and now Pink Poodle proudly sits on his fresh throne.

Just kidding! Let's see Pink Poodle in action now!
An uninvited hitman enters Pink Poodle's castle, quested to eliminate Pink Poodle, because that super specific poodle causes public terror to the natives inside and out, everytime Pink Poodle mentions their kingdom's name.
The hired slayer, disguised as a personal chef, hides a fork, don't tell me why, on one hand, and holds a totally not drugged drink on the other hand.
The Pink Poodle found it a bit suspicious, I mean, he only hires poodles, not oxen.
The ox clearly didn't investigate thoroughly, but it's too late.
While Pink Poodle was taking his sweet time examining for the safety of the drink, the ox revealed his round, totally not sharp, blue fork, but the Poodle noticed in time.
Sweat slowly appeared on the oxe's palm, it's called cartoon logic, without a shock of fear, the Pink Pink Poodle knocked him down with his fighting skills.
Would have been better if the hitman would have forgotten his fork, though.
The enemies wanted to save money, so they hired an underperforming service, inflation these days, I understand the ox's client(s) financial concerns.
The ox was sent to the dragon's pit only to give the dragon company.
The End

This took me 3 or 4 days to do, if you like it, then it was worth my time 👍, if not then.. 😐
Process..
(For people viewing this from the Inkwell, you can skip this part to make your read shorter)
1 ) Pink Poodle With His Glowing Staff..
First, I drew a simple sketch to give me an idea of what I'm suppose to draw..
I later oficially traced my sketch..
Adding base colors..
Done..
Shading and giving it its pink power orb..
I was playing around and giving some shadow to its cape when I found out that since the background was black I could give the poodle's edges extreme black shadowing..
Drew hot pink thunder in the black background and extra pink shadowing to the poodle's face..
2 ) The Kingdom's Ex Ruler...
Every ruler, even a weak one, needs a throne..
This is a sketch, and don't mind those weird lines, those were supposed to be a guidence for sun lightrays and stuff.
Finished with the sketch..
I turned the background gray, to avoid future erasing, for example, if the background is white while painting, I might think that I already painted the eyeball white, but when I paint the background a different color, then, after realising, I wasted time finding the right layer to color the eyeball white.
(I suck at explaining)
Painting and shading
Painted everything, if carefully observed, there are living beings doing about their daily lives behind the windows..
Sunlight and the action of the flags falling..
3 ) Sunset Fall..(Or Push)..
I drew a fairly decent castle..
Painted a sunset as a background..
Added some sort of temporary guidance to help me straighten up the castle's fence, and make it taller...
Hid the sunset background, and started to put extra detail on the castle..
Looking bricky..
After adding all the bricks I gave the castle extra detail in the corner, do you notice it? Not everything in this castle is entirely made out of the same brick shape..
Added angry poodles in the castle balcony holding torches and farming forks, and the Purple Poodle being pushed off..
4 ) We Surrender..
I painted the sky and added a hole in the soil..
I also painted a poodle hand holding a white "I surrender" flag..
Finally, I made the sky less happy..
5 ) Bake 'till You Drop..
I forgot to take a picture of the black and white sketch, but what I managed to take is a picture of this..
Painting the poodles...
Coloring the bread dough..
Adding the delicious white drizzles, or something..
Gave it lifeless smoke, because it's a depressing bakery environment..
5 ) Scooting Away..

Pencil lined the poodle..

6) Pink Poodle's Training..
Conceptual sketch..
Traced my own artwork..

Giving it a colorful background because I was and am in a good mood🙂..
Blended the background and gave it an additional code of orange..
7 ) Pink Poodle The Ruler..
I first drew a window and seat...
A flag for the Pink Poodle, inspired by the word "Pretty in pink".
The dog..
Painted the wall in a flesh color..
Those poodle lights up there in the ceiling aren't "hanging", please, don't get the wrong idea..
The main idea was to put sunlight passing through the window, but snow would be better for more diversity..
8 ) Ox Assassin..
I first scribbled a 3 second sketch to know more less how the pose should be..
I made the scribble a bit transparent and started pencil lining...
I painted the skin of the ox..
Shaded the clothing..
Now I paint a watercolor red background..
9 ) The Drink Scene..
My favorite drawing out of all of them..
This is a half finished sketch..
Line art..
Color...
Made the flooring red and some design on the red floor and a casting shadow under the poodle..
Some darkening to make it more cinematic, andddd done! Changed this to a fork so it wouldn't be too altering..
10 ) and 11) Drinking..
These images are both the same, I just changed the eye balls and mouth..

Every now and then when I'm curating as Ink Well, I decide to change my voice and curate as @agmoore. This is one of those cases. My response as agmoore may not be the same as an official inkwell position.
First of all, I certainly hope you are engaging with several art communities here. Your drawings are delightful. You are correct, we don't need the 'lore', but the lore works beautifully with your pictures. It is obvious you love art. It is obvious creating this story/art brought you satisfaction. I enjoyed the lore also. However, there is a lot of stabbing and death, especially for such cute poodles. In a way that makes the story and pictures more effective, because of the disconnect between cute poodles and violence. On the other hand, when there is a lot of violence (even at the hands of cute poodles) it presents a problem for inkwell. We have to weigh such posts because we have rules against graphic violence. This weighing gives us (me) a headache. Please try to tone down the random killings, assassinations, murders. The story would work fine I think without so much. Of course, you are the author and you have to decide that for yourself.
I love your piece, as @agmoore. As an Ink Well curator I will be much more restrained in my comment.

Hi! Sorry for the inconvenience, I was mindful about all the violence, when creating it I was very careful with what I wrote in my story, I really didn't think there was "that" much "bloodshed" and stuff.

Your story is charming, but perhaps a bit murderous. So much murder is not really consistent with Ink Well culture. It is true there are no graphic representations of murder here, there is no overt abuse, so the story passes. Still, it is problematic for the community. See if you can tone it down in the future.

For me it wasn't that murderous, I mean, Star Wars have many blaster scenes and its still considered family friendly, guess everyone has a different interpretation.
I made sure to never add blood to any of my pictures, I wouldn't want to disturb other readers in such a way.
