Agree, I will be looking into it tomorrow. Here it is midnight so I will go to bed.

Now it is better with "The count" and "My scoundrel opponent" thrown in aggressively everywhere.

Much better! I was reading it quite wrong that first time around. Thanks for fixing it.

I am the one who says thank you. When posting my comic pages I use to give high upvotes to people who can find things to improve. Proofreading is valuable even though it often is done for free,

Alright then, I love to proofread, and get quite nit-picky about my own stuff. I have some gaps in knowledge, especially regarding the proper use of commas, and my sentences tend to be too long, as is this one. @carolkean might be able to help. But I'll be happy to do it!

Commas are always a problem. I am good at using them in Danish (which has two systems - a new reformed and the old based on the German where you put 1000 commas in each sentence to convince people that you are capable of syntax analysis). When learning to write in a foreign language commas are probably the last thing you will master.

Another thing is that commas also are a writing instrument and sometimes not following the rules can be an artistic choice.
