Viiiince your plants need fertilizer, you need to buy now!
Vince, the gardener, woke up from his afternoon nap when his friend Pao shouted inside his nipa hut. What now, Pao? I told you that I suffered from my insomnia last night. I need more time to sleep! he replied.
Whatever, stand up and buy fertilizer...or else, your plants will die tomorrow. Pao threatened him. You are overreacting again, I will buy at night. My grandma says that it is better to buy fertilizer at night.
What? Is there any scientific explanation behind that? Pao curiously asked. I don't know, but in my 5 years experience of gardening, I followed her advice and looked at my garden. They are all healthy.
Tch, whatever.
Vince and Pao are colleagues. They finished their degree as an agriculturist and started their business. The business is stable, but they have a goal which is to make their business popular. They are ambitious but with a good heart. They often help homeless people and feed them.
Time is ticking, it is already 7 pm at night when Vince decided to go in the store. Just like her grandma says, it is better to buy fertilizer at night. He does not know the reason, but he always follows her grandma.
Bye Pao, I will buy fertilizer . See you later. Watch on television if you get bored. He said jokingly. Whatever, bye! Pao replied.
He went to the store, after choosing the fertilizer that they will use, he went to the payment area to pay for the product.
But suddenly, people with cameras and microphones entered the store. They approached him with a smile. Are you Mr. Vince? one guy in the crowd asked. Although he was confused about the situation, he answered. Yes.
The guy smiled widely and offered his hand. I am Santos, the host of the CVV channel. The interview will start in 20 minutes. We should go to the venue, sir. The bodyguards look-alike was following him and the guy. They went to the backyard of the store where there are a lot of camera and lightning props. He is still confused, but he just goes with the flow. He does not know what is happening.
Alright sir, please sit down and we will start the interview. The guy is in front of him sitting beside him. Lights, camera, now! the director shouted.
Santos suddenly asked him. Sir, you look so nervous, are you?
Yes. he answered with an awkward smile.
Well, it is obvious. Santos replied jokingly. He also laughed awkwardly and asked Santos. uhhh….are we on live TV? he asked. Innocently.
Hahaha, nothing new Mr. Alvire. Yes of course we are live on TV. Santos replied while laughing at him.
_Mr. Alvire...._he asked his mind.
Wait...did you say, Mr. Alvire? Vince asked again.
Santos looked at him with a confused look. Y-yes, Mr. Vince Alvire, right?
Uhhh...excuse me, but I am not Vince Alvire. My name is Vince Schorer, not Alvire. I think you got the wrong guy. He smiled awkwardly.
There was an awkward silence on the set. The tape was live on TV and there must be a lot of viewers watching. They immediately stopped the show and start a commercial break.
I am sorry, Mr. Schorer for wasting your time. I thought you are Mr. Alvire, he looks like you. Santos said to him.
No, no. It is okay, not a big deal. I am thankful because some people might see me on TV hahaha!. he said while laughing.
He went to their house and saw Pao waiting for him. Pao is laughing hard. Hahahaha what are you? A Hollywood star? I saw you on TV!
They had a funny conversation regarding the incident that night. He feels that he became famous overnight.
Tomorrow morning, a lot of people are in front of their house asking for an interview. Later on, their gardening became popular because of the interview incident. The interview became trending and caught the attention of the media and it is how their business grew and introduced by the industry.
They even had a real interview with Santos in CVV channel, their business spread worldwide and they reached their goal for their business.
Lesson: A single mistake can change your life. Take it positively.
