This is a well-developed story. Throughout the twists and turns of the plot, the action is clear. The motivation of the different characters is clear. While it might have seemed improbable that Roger and Lydia would meet as many times as they do, Morgan acts to match the two up.
The complication of Lydia's father adds conflict to the story, conflict you resolve credibly. The last line is very good:
