This story has an interesting structure. It is almost told in frames that give us a visual impression of what is occurring in each life. Peter on one hand, spitting out tea and walking his dog. Zoe on the other hand, finishing her work and avoiding Peter. They all meet coincidentally and there is a 'knockout'. Whether or not Zoe and Peter form a personal relationship that develops, doesn't matter. They have met and become friends. One might say Ziggler is the glue that held them together.
