Your story has a lyric quality, which is in stark contrast to the content:
he eats bone
devouring his dog
devoured his son his meats and bones
These are some examples of the extreme violence contained in your story. You are writing about evil, and these details express evil. So that is appropriate for your story. However, it is not appropriate for the Ink Well community. In our Manifesto we state:
No...posts depicting violence against women, children or animals. We also ask that writers avoid gore, brutality and highly violent scenes. The Ink Well welcomes all genres, but we draw the line at brutality...Do not post stories with these themes in The Ink Well.
Your pictures did not come through. They are usually quite impressive, so that is regrettable.
