Hello game lovers, how are you? I hope so.
After the indication of my friend @polessins I decided to register and play Gods Unchained.
So, in today's post I will share my initial impressions and my experience in the first battle I performed in Gods Unchained.
And here we go.
To start playing, the first step is to register in the game.
And this can be done very easily through the game's website at https://godsunchained.com/
In the upper right corner click on the PLAY NOW option
After registering your account, create your password and link your e-mail you must download the executable game, it's all very simple and very intuitive.
You now only have to install the game on your computer and you are ready to play.
Once registered, downloaded and installed the game, let's talk a little about the gameplay.
At first contact the game seemed to me good looking, with good graphics and a great atmosphere.
And right from the start I was proposed to participate in the tutorial and, as it was my first contact with the game, not knowing completely what to do and how to play, nothing better than to accept and participate in the tutorial available.
Early on I realized that each player has a God and your goal is to defeat the opposing God by reducing its life to zero.
Your God will define the power and cards that will be available to you each turn according to your card deck, in the case of the Tutorial my God was the "Author", God of War.
The first choice in battle is your God's power, for the tutorial only the power "enrage" was available, which grants + 1 strength and deals 1 damage to one of my creatures, and then choose or keep the cards available.
You are then shown your 3 cards that will make up the first turn, you can swap or keep them.
The battle begins with your hand consisting of 3 cards that have been drawn from my card deck.
To play you spend "mana" and at the beginning only 1 mana is available. Choosing the card is very simple, just select the card from your hand, click, and drag it to the battlefield. And, in this case, the card I played this turn was the "Boil-Blood Outlaw".
After spending your mana you must end your turn, passing the turn to your opponent.
Your challenger then makes his move as he sees fit, and immediately afterwards, the turn reverts back to you.
Then, in place of the card you placed on the battlefield, a new card is made available to you, and your mana is recovered and increased to 2.
The card you chose on a turn cannot attack on the same turn, at least those early cards, I believe there is some special ability that allows attack on the same turn, but that is for a later time.
However the card I chose on the first turn can already be used for attack, and to do so is very easy, just click on your card, in my case Boil-Blood Outlaw, and drag it to my opponent's God.
The damage that my card will cause is equal to the damage informed on it (number inside the square on the left corner), in this case the damage is 1.
The third round begins in the same way as the previous round, recovering my mana and increasing it to 3.
But the Tutorial brings us a great novelty, in this case the opponent used a "shield" card that prevents my creatures from attacking his God, so before attacking the God, I must defeat the shield card.
This turn I placed a third card on the battlefield and learned to use my God's power as chosen at the beginning of the battle, but first I needed to use a manda "potion" to recover my mana.
With the Enrage power I managed to defeat my opponent's shield card and, with my remaining cards, defeat the enemy God, winning the battle.
After completing the tutorial I was given 3 free card packs, which I opened to assemble my initial deck, which were as follows:
Each card pack has 5 cards, so I received a total of 15 cards.
Now we are ready to battle.
For my first battle I decided to choose an opponent with artificial intelligence.
But before participating in a battle you must choose your deck from the existing decks (Nature Starter, Light Starter, War Starter, Magic Starter, Death Starter and Deception Starter) or create a deck.
Since I am a beginner and don't have much knowledge about all the abilities and characteristics of the game, I chose the "Nature Starter" deck.
You must also choose the Loadout which is nothing more than the battle environment, in this case I chose the "Midnight temple".
For artificial intelligence I chose the "light starter" deck.
Unlike what happened in the tutorial, in battle the Gods have 30 life.
The next step was the choice of Power, and I chose "selena's mark" which causes 1 damage to an opponent and recovers 1 life from my God, and I did not make any changes to my initial cards.
In the first round, with one mana, I placed the creature "dockside Prowler" on the battlefield.
The battle then developed in a very interesting way, my opponent did not put many cards on the battlefield, I believe his cards had high mana value.
The amount of mana went up and amazing cards could be placed in the battle. Each card has specific abilities and totally changes the dynamics of the battle, it will certainly take me some time to get familiar with each one of them and the best option to create good decks and good combos.
After some time of battle I got enough mana for a powerful frontline (Charging Oryx), I even put a +6 regen card on it, which supported a lot of damage, and I put a Backline (Flamecaller) that caused 1 damage to all enemies at the beginning of the round.
This was an amazing combo.
But it only lasted a few rounds and soon after my challenger managed to turn the battle around and at one point I didn't even have any new cards to put on the battlefield, which led to my first defeat.
In general I can conclude that Gods Unchained, according to my first impressions, is a very pleasant and interesting game.
The quantity of cards, decks, abilities and powers makes it VERY dynamic, because each battle is unique and has its own characteristics.
Certainly it will take some time for me to get familiar with the game and have the knowledge of the best cards, how to build a good deck, and the best combos.
But, on the other hand, I was very excited about this new game and I will certainly dedicate myself to learn a lot about it and, with that, improve my gameplay, including winning my first ranked battle, but that will be for a new post.
Thanks for reading.

Welcome to Gods Unchained. It's a game which you can enjoy for a long time.
I have to say that this game isn't actually new. I'm playing about 2 years now.
Hi Chris very nice.
So you must know VERY well about the game, I will read your posts to learn
Let's say I have a lot of experience in this game. I didn't play much when gas rises ridiculously and the forge was deactivated. I also wanted to buy card packs in the last expansion but the high gas fees made it nearly impossible. At least buying only a few packs didn't make any sense. I still bought some. 😆
Luckily they came up with a solution and brought up ImmutableX and also reopened the forge recently.
I've just started, but I'm really enjoying it 😁
