Another week, another mid-week beverage (more than 1). And I cant believe I'm saying this, but I actually think that Heirloom has not been nerfed. I went into the week a bit down on myself, trying to find something to play, I tried Light, I tried Amazons, I tried Deception and even a quick stab at Viking War, and I thought to myself, can we make the Heirloom archetype work? The answer is a resounding YES! What a roller coaster it has been. 14 wins (in gold), up to Mythic, but then back down to gold trying to get the last three wins for 30 in weekend ranked.
The Deck
The main change this week was removing the second Land of the Dead, since it now gives soulless. I replaced it with Vrock to get some extra draw but I do think there may be a better option which I will explore next week. The star has been Neferu, nobody expects her and she can be devastating under the right conditions, throwing the opponent off their game.
Statistics
An exceptional week with 14 wins (in Gold). Favourable win rates against everyone except the usual suspects.

We high rolled a Serris in an Rare pack. Otherwise, nothing interesting.
P2E
Decent week with ~20 Gods.
Looking Forward
The big news this week is the Light's Verdict release of 12 new cards for a limited period(2 weeks I think). There has been plenty of discussion around this release but my take is the following:
- I don't mind that there are limited releases, however these cards should not be part of the meta, but rather a collectors item.
- There is a danger with a limited number of cards available that it will lock the majority of players out of playing the top decks (If the cards remain as they are, since some look a bit OP).
The above is just speculation and all we can do is wait and see what happens with the release. I really hope it goes well!
Next week we will be back at it with some more Heirloom action, I look forward to running into you out there on the cliff face!

I can't argue with results, but it does seem odd to remove a LotD. I know you can't use 2 now, but you double your odds of having it in hand at 6 mana.
I agree with you 100% on your LV take. Yawgmouth stated clearly in balance chat that he sees several cards as S tier and one as "above S tier". That one has got to be blade. I think there is a high likelihood that these cards will get nerfed. At least, I hope they do. That causes it's own problem: people will feel cheated.
We also know the balance team was playing with the cards. They knew they were busted. The likely (although unhappy) conclusion is they decided to release these in their OP states to drive sales.
