Greetings everyone,
Last weekend rank was a very rough weekend for me. It started by getting 1 win getting 1 loss for a couple matches, then went downhill and go demoted back to Ethereal Diamond and finally was able to snatch a couple of wins and was promoted back to mythic again. I was able to overall snatch 7 wins, supposed to be 8 because 1 of these matches was against the Mythic card holder: Citadel of the Gods.
Now after finishing my 18 matches, it was time for me to get my 30 wins for the What a mortal Price and this cost a bit much. Getting 30 wins was no easy feast as first of all 30 wins are a bit much, and second of all people were getting adapted to current decks and getting wins was getting tougher. In my journey to get those wins I got demoted again.
I got my 30 wins finally, but now I was stuck in Ethereal Diamond always getting close to being promoted but dropping at the last second. I noticed that the decks I am using were very familiar and countered those couple of days so that's when I decided to switch up and change into a new light deck which helped me get promoted again with no losses at all! So in this post I will be sharing this with you that can either get you promoted if you're stuck or even get you wins in mythic!
The Deck
Now this deck was originally built in a different way, but I made my own version of it with my own cards since there was a couple of cards that were relatively expensive and I was not ready to buy them at the moment so here is what the deck looks like:
As we can see it is an aggro light deck, similar to other usual light decks and even to the deck I posted a while ago but there was some additions and edits to this one that really made some difference in it and made it better. I played 8 games with this deck from Ethereal diamond to Mythic and won all of them as we will see in the matchups breakdown:

So I was able to win all my games from the beginning of Ethereal Diamond all the way until Mythic. Luckily I did not face a lot of deception because it is the most god I was struggling again with Light, but overall you can deal with most matchups and can do good against any god if luck was by your side as well.
New Addition Cards
Now this deck holds some cards that did not exist in the previous deck I posted and these cards did very well most of them to say the least, so let us see what were the new cards added here and why:
Inquisitor Informant
In my previous decks there was a lot of strong frontline/obstacle removals like Wrong Path, Excommunicate and Master of Indulgences. However, in this deck I focused more about building up my board so there was more small creatures in it but I also kept some cards to help get through annoying frontlines and this is the purpose of this card. It great to stop annoying creatures while at the same time build the board!
Ritual Rod
This card is a similar alternative for the Mace of Calling. It is as if for 1 mana I am choosing to let go of the extra Acolyte I get from the mace and this is better for this deck since I already have a lot of small creatures in it and I am in no need of more. So this relic fits it better.
Intimidating Uplifter
This is a very good cards in such decks, I do not know why I did not add it before in previous decks. The buff it provides is very valuable and can get help a lot as well as getting a 2/2 creature of board all for 3 mana! This card is a great one to keep in all Aggro Light decks I would say and a very good addition.
Eucos In Eclipse
A lot of times I faced situations were several creatures stayed alive with 1 HP especially with Light and Deception being used quite a lot at the moment and this card helped in many situations to get rid of enemy creatures. I was surprised at first when I saw it being used but then I saw it is much useful with the current state of the meta off week.
Original Cards and Replacements
Now the original deck had some cards that I was not willing to buy at the moment so in my own version I replaced them with cards of my choice that I have in my collection that are somewhat close to serving the same purpose. So let us see those cards and the replacement in case you have the original ones, keep them!
Iron-tooth Goblin for Vesper of Concession
Now the first card that I was not willing to buy in the original deck, was the Iron-tooth Goblin. It is clearly used as a relic removal as well as being a 2/2 buffable creature. So the closest alternative to me was the Vesper of Concession. Not as effective in relic removal, but also a 1/1 buffable protected creature so a pretty close choice!
Thaeric Extortionist for Light's Levy
Now the Thaeric Extortionist does not cost a lot but 2 of it will be 10 gods and I did not want to pay that at the moment especially that I have a very close alternative. Both cards will provide a total of 2/2 on your board the only difference is that the Thaeric Militant gives -1 strength if he hits which can be good sometimes. But overall a very close alternative won't make a big of a difference.
Canonize of Golden-Winged Sphynx
Now the Canonize is an irreplaceable card in this deck, however it costs 14 GODS at the moment which I also did not want to pay for now so I thought what was the closest card to replace it. And I saw the Golden-Winged Sphynx will give a 4/5 frontline which is close to the states given from canonize to a 2/2 creature, as well as giving protected for a turn which can protect your creatures. Not an ideal but the best switch I could think of.
Final Thoughts
Not only this deck made me climb back to mythic without any losses, but it also made me do that in a very small period of time for being so fast as well as tins of fun to play. The meta keeps changing even without cards changing because people are adaptive to usual decks used repetitively so decks might suddenly become useless and then be good again.
This deck currently is getting a good amount of wins even in mythic not only in diamond and it does not cost much to play it has cards very affordable and cheap. So I would say this is a go to deck for anyone who wants to get fast wins or climb up in rank. Of course, you can always make your own version of it if you think you can make it better and that is the beauty of this game.
If you like this deck and other decks I post make sure to drop a follow, I keep posting new decks that are effective for almost every god considering the meta keeps changing so fast sometimes without even changing any cards in the game! Also some deck can be less or more effective in off week decks or in weekend rank depending on what the people have already adapted to.

Congratulations! I am almost, almost returned to Mythic with an Aggro Deception deck and have no energy left so this WR I am in Ethereal with my shiny Deception gang. Next week, probably I should try Light, Control Light perhaps.
UPD Back to Mythic. :)
At the moment deception and Light are probably the 2 strongest gods but deception is a bit harder and trickier to play IMO. Anyway keep grinding and at least finish your first 18 games if you have no energy to get 30 wins!
