January Farming GODS and a $5 Super Deck with 70% WR

in Gods On Chainlast month (edited)

Hey there!

Finding free time has been tough these past weeks, so I'll keep it short.

Last time I checked in, I was climbing back to ranks 10-11 from Midnight Shadow —took me about three days (I don’t play more than 10 ranked games per day).

Today, I think I broke my personal record for Gods farming in a single day, but I’ll check the exact numbers tomorrow.

January Results:

  • Gods earned: 402.00
  • At current rate: ~$65
  • Winrate: 56%

Even though my winrate has improved compared to previous months, I’m spending more time at ranks 10-11 instead of 11-12 like before.

I’m pretty sure swapping one Skeletal for one Leviathan Hunter could boost my winrate by an extra 2-3%. That card would give great trade value in mirror matches, thanks to Warmongers — and mirrors are still quite common. But I’m not sure if it’s worth losing an extra Diamond card in the process.

Either way, I’m barely grinding these weeks. It’s not just about playing your cards — you gotta watch high-ranked Zoo players, see how they play, pick up some interesting strats, and test them out. But for now, I’m busy stacking mana on Spark Sorc in PoE 2 😆

I’ve also noticed my winrate dropped against Deception guild matchups.

If someone asked me what deck to invest in for max token farming while balancing cost and game time, I’d confidently recommend something like this build:

  • It’s relatively cheap compared to other decks.
  • It’ll stay viable for a long time thanks to a Cutthroat Insight that can break the game against any god and any deck.
  • You just need experience to understand game dynamics, predict different decks' options.

Besides that, you’ve got strong, low-cost creatures with plenty of flexible plays.

Nice earnings and nice progress report.

That Deception deck is not 'relatively cheap', it's very cheap 😜.
And yes, it does take skill to squeeze a good win rate out of it.

Your War deck is super accessible too.

To maintain a higher quality standard, we're asking authors to indicate the source of the images in their posts, when they are not their own. We all know the screenshots come from GU Decks and the game client, but still we should give credit where credit is due and new people may not be aware of these common sources.

To help everyone with sourcing GU images, I made this post https://peakd.com/hive-173286/@agrante/image-sourcing-for-gods-unchained-posts. Please take a look.

Also as a matter of standard procedure, please always post the deck code or a link to the deck in GU Decks whenever you share a deck - or two in this case.

It would be great if you could edit your post to apply these improvements. Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for reminding me about this 👍 I think I fixed it 🙃

Thanks, I see you made some changes. It's still missing the deck code for the Deception deck, though.

If I could offer a suggestion, the source links for GU Decks pages under the screenshots could be a direct link to that particular page and double as the way readers would be able to retrieve the deck code.

A Nice deck
