Alerts are going out across South Texas, which is still saturated from recent rains, that more rain is on the way. Storms are expected to drop up to five inches of rain this week. This could set up conditions for flash flooding.
Residents should take these early storms as a reminder to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season, which starts in June.
