I'm sure we've all at some point or the other heard a motivational speaker say that if you love what you do you won't have to work a day in your life because you will just be having fun while working. But is that statement really true?
Does loving what you do stop the frequent headaches that come with staying up late to meet deadlines or finish work that has lagged behind? Does loving what you do and having fun prove enough to stop those down times when things are not going your way?
Personally I support that saying, that we should all do what we love. It will at least make out paths more bearable and less cumbersome. But I do not for any reason think because you do what you love, you won't go through as much stress and put in as much work as someone who doesn't do what he love.
Just my opinions though, do you also share them with me share your thoughts. Love you all to the moon and back my friends, and from me it's bye for now and Salud.
I think too many people fall into the hype of the statement, and then when thy get that third headache they think they don't love it as much as they used to. Love should be reserved for a human companion or an animal companion, not for work. Work is something that should be looked at as a means to an end. A person needs to understand why they work, what they want to get out of working. It is nice if you like your job, but until a person tries a job, they really have no clue if they are going to like it. So before looking for that perfect job, understand why you want to work, keep that understanding close to your heart and it really won't matter what kind of job you have, if it is one you love or one you hate. If it gets you where you want to go it does not matter.
I like this way of viewing things, work is not to be loved but a means to an end. And I think I agree with you, we will do crazy jobs if it gets us what we want. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts
