RE: Community PUD: +450 HP for HivePUD on 1 September 2020

Hmmm. I hoped it is not due to anything I have said, as I do not understand why you would say this. My limited understanding of southeast Asian culture, though, would indicate to me this is very important to you. If I have offended you in some way, please feel free to let me know.

Dear @roleerob, I am grateful for your kind advice. Please understand that I am not good at English and I am not familiar with American culture.
People living in East Asian culture think that many questions are actions that reveal their ignorance. So, East Asians don't ask questions to others even when they have questions.

From my cultural perspective, this is pretty simple. You have just not chosen to invest the time into learning about it. No one can be proficient doing anything until they have invested the necessary time and effort.

You are right! However, Koreans use virtual currency and blockchain only for speculative purposes. On the other hand, you use virtual currency and blockchain to prevent centralization. So, I read your articles, but it was hard to understand because of my poor English skills.

I have always been willing to help you. You have asked for help. If you want to move forward, I am still willing to help you. Just let me know and we'll take it step-by-step.

Thank you for your kind advice!

My only caveat in this offer is I do not want to be responsible for whatever my happen with any money you would choose to invest. You need to understand "going in" that the crypto markets are very volatile. Probably not a good place for anyone faint-hearted to venture ... Even then, the best advice is just not invest more than you can afford to lose ...

I agree with you! Many Koreans simply use virtual currency for speculation. They only told me how to make money using cryptocurrency. However, you insisted on using cryptocurrency and blockchain to prevent centralization.
Rather than making money using cryptocurrency, I want to know if your claim applies to reality.

I wanted to know if @roleerob's argument could apply to reality.

Sort:

"People living in East Asian culture think that many questions are actions that reveal their ignorance. So, East Asians don't ask questions to others even when they have questions."

Hmmm. Rather than make any statement about what that represents to me upon reading it, I will just leave it with you will have to decide whether you want to continue on in life with that mindset ...

At least it tells me it was nothing I said which made you feel ashamed.

" ... I want to know if your claim applies to reality."

" wanted to know if @roleerob's argument could apply to reality."

I do not know what this means, as I am unaware of making any claim or argument. I took your request for help above to indicate something else. Not sure what you are asking me for help with now.

Dear senior @roleerob, In East Asia, it is an impolite when a young person asks a lot of questions to an elderly person. I hope you don't misunderstand my clumsy English. I thought I might take away your precious personal time. If so, I want to ask you many questions in the future.

At least it tells me it was nothing I said which made you feel ashamed.

I was relieved by your words.

Looking at your writing, I interpreted it this way. Through blockchain and cryptocurrency, democracy and republic in the United States are further developed and perfected.
Do you think you can more fully develop democracy and republic in America through blockchain and cryptocurrency?
Most Koreans simply perceive virtual currency and blockchain as speculative products.

I didn't understand your argument because I don't know the concept and usage of cryptocurrency and blockchain.

Is the reason you oppose Justin Sun because he will destroy democracy and republic in America through manipulation of public opinion and information?

Okay @silvergrifin007, it is nice to read of you and your culture's respect of your elders. I appreciate that, but do not allow it to stop you from asking questions. If I have time, I am always willing to help others, if I can. In my mind, you represent yourself to be my brother in Christ. That makes it all the more important for me to be helpful, if I can.

If the timing is not good, then that will only be an issue of needing to be patient ... 😉 I will get to it when I can or clearly tell you that I cannot be of any help.

"Looking at your writing, I interpreted it this way. Through blockchain and cryptocurrency, democracy and republic in the United States are further developed and perfected."

This is a misinterpretation of what I wrote. I did mention blockchain in that post, but it was not in a favorable way. And it is also a future potential application, as there is nothing in place today in America to utilize blockchain technology for voting purposes.

Stated differently, that post was about the critical elections here in 2020. Which will take place in early November. There is no blockchain technology that will have any bearing on the outcome.

"Is the reason you oppose Justin Sun because he will destroy democracy and republic in America through manipulation of public opinion and information?"

He has no power to do anything to the republic of America. He is wealthy, but he has nowhere near that much power. Not even close ...

I do not, of course, know him at all, but the little bit of time I have taken to read about him would lead me to believe he likes America. And wants to live in amongst us to flaunt his wealth. In China, my assumption is that would be at risk ...

Thanks for your honest answer.

I see! So, what is your purpose of doing Hive Blockchain?
@valued-customer is doing a hive blockchain to oppose centralization. He argued that the Overlords are creating a global empire through manipulation of public opinion and information.

In particular, he seemed to argue that Justin Sun could not be an American citizen.

He has no power to do anything to the republic of America. He is wealthy, but he has nowhere near that much power. Not even close ...

My american senior @roleerob, you are right! Justin Sun cannot beat the King of the Rocky Mountains. However, it seems that Koreans speculating virtual currency are listening to Justin Sun's orders. Justin Sun said he would give Koreans the same stake in Steemit as Westerners.

I do not, of course, know him at all, but the little bit of time I have taken to read about him would lead me to believe he likes America. And wants to live in amongst us to flaunt his wealth. In China, my assumption is that would be at risk ...

After 1854, the Japanese predicted that the United States would become an empire that surpasses Europe. So, the Japanese eagerly imitated and learned the advanced civilization of America. However, they initiated World War II to escape US domination.
Even today, the Japanese envy and respect America's power, wealth, and territory. However, they said this to me. America's Christian civilization will come to an end someday. Christian civilization can never harmonize with East Asian civilization. So, let's build a new east asian future by alliing Korea with Japan again.

My respected american senior, Wouldn't you like to go back to the colonial era before the American Revolution?

"I see! So, what is your purpose of doing Hive Blockchain?"

I first came "in here," as I have written about numerous times, as an investor. I am still "in here" to watch over my investment, as well as being fascinated by the opportunity to engage with others all over the world. Like you! 😉

As for the perceptions of ValuedCustomer (VC), I believe what a man thinks is based upon his system of belief. VC and I do not have the same system of belief ... So, it should come as no surprise to you that I do not agree with VC's perception of what the Hive blockchain represents ...

"My respected american senior, Wouldn't you like to go back to the colonial era before the American Revolution?"

Interesting question. As a younger man, I used to think about whether I was born in the wrong time in history. I no longer give that any thought, as I am very settled on my belief that God is sovereign in all the affairs of man. I was born in both the time and place of His choosing and for His purposes.

Dear @roleerob, Even though I'm not good at English, I think you're an outstanding politician and orator. In order to survive in the American wilderness, you must have the instinctive ability to differentiate between enemies and friends. Perhaps @roleerob has a good eye for people.

I agree with you! @valued-customer is like scholars and revolutionaries. In particular, he knows well about East Asians like me. He is a genius person. Because California is a coastal area and has many East Asians, he seems to know East Asian culture well.

On the other hand, @roleerob is a strange American to East Asians like me. @roleerob seems to have a strong European tendency. East Asians know California, New York and Washington well, but not the Rocky Mountains.

@roleerob's writings are of an American orientation, so it's hard for me to understand. It is more difficult for foreigners like me who do not know the United States.
However, it shows a good picture of the Rocky Mountains, the basis of American agriculture and natural resources.

The eastern part of the United States is European, and the Pacific coast is Latin American. However, the Rocky Mountains where @roleerob lives are different. I think the United States is a vast world with so many different geography, environments and people.

@roleerob was an avid Protestant, but he was a brilliant businessman. So, I am interested in him. In the end, it seems that people need money to enjoy freedom.

You spoke like a successful person. you are strong man! I agree with you!
