Since announcing I was powering "down and out" on the Steem blockchain, I have had some "macro" trading success with those revenues. Now safely stored in my Hive wallet, today seems like a good day to Power Up some of it on our Hive blockchain!

Getting right to it, here is my September Power-Up executed a short time ago:
This represents a Hive Power increase of 3%. And ...
For the 3rd quarter of 2020, I have powered up a total of +3,500 Hive, which represents a Hive Power increase of 30% from July 1st. Not too bad!
While September's power-up % increase wasn't as large as the previous months, that is very intentional. I have learned this quarter to "keep some powder dry," for whatever opportunities may arise in other tokens linked to our Hive blockchain. For example, the recent announcement re: wLEO is very exciting. With HIVE pretty stagnant, my LEO tokens increased substantially in value on the basis of it!

Ohhh well ... I met this last requirement, as well, until converting STEEM to HIVE. But, that is okay. This contest is to encourage members of our community to join in doing their small parts to collectively help add value overall to our Hive blockchain.

I am a latecomer to them myself. For lots of reasons, I have participated some recently, with my power-down revenues from the Steem blockchain. One thing I have recently become enlightened by is the value of keeping some HIVE available, so ... Not sure how much or how seriously I will be participating in the future. Justin Sun purchased the STEEM stake of SteemIt, Inc., the company which owned by far the largest single stake on the Steem blockchain. With it, he had the voting power to put his own Witnesses in control of it. Far more to the story than this, but ... This was the starting point.
The "old guard" Witnesses of the Steem blockchain, led by BlockTrades, decided they would simply start their own blockchain, instead of continuing their "war" with Justin Sun.
I powered down almost all (I have a tiny bit left there, to support commenting ...) of my STEEM stake. In the volatility of the markets, in exchanging STEEM for HIVE, one can either make some money or lose money. I did okay ...

You are right. Many Koreans view Steemit as simply a means of making money. Koreans think they are discriminated against on Steemit compared to Westerners. In particular, there are many complaints about Steemit's share distribution.
They believed that Justin Sun would give them an equal share of the Westerners.
Unfortunately, they are not interested in or understand the decentralization pursued by the Hive blockchain. Koreans want to make money by running their own closed community rather than talking to you. They want more money than to be friends of @roleerob, king of the Rocky Mountains.
I don't know more about cryptocurrencies than elementary school students in America. ahahaha!@roleerob, When you're free, please teach me how to monetize, buy or sell Hive tokens. I don't know how to transfer Steemit tokens to Hive.
His control is limited to complete domination of the Steem blockchain, as his stake is far and away the largest. All others combined do not equal his ... As far as the press, etc. outside the Steem blockchain, we can both assume he does what he can to influence them to be biased toward whatever he wants them to believe ... Control though? No, when the "war" with Justin Sun was going into its 2nd month, with no prospect of it ending ... BlockTrades led others to just "dump" the Steem blockchain instead and start over, with their own new blockchain.
Getting your funds back and forth between the Steem and Hive blockchains can be accomplished with @swap.app. There are other alternatives, but this is the most straightforward and the one I used. Here is a link to that app and posts written about how to use it - https://peakd.com/@swap.app/posts
Beyond that, buying and selling HIVE tokens or any other crypto begins with exchanging whatever Korean funds you may wish to invest into crypto. Is that what you are asking for help with, as well?

From my cultural perspective, this is pretty simple. You have just not chosen to invest the time into learning about it. No one can be proficient doing anything until they have invested the necessary time and effort.
I have always been willing to help you. You have asked for help. If you want to move forward, I am still willing to help you. Just let me know and we'll take it step-by-step.
My only caveat in this offer is I do not want to be responsible for whatever my happen with any money you would choose to invest. You need to understand "going in" that the crypto markets are very volatile. Probably not a good place for anyone faint-hearted to venture ...
