If you want to show your friend how much you appreciate them, making a sketch is a great way to do it.
Although if you are not perfect at art but creating a sincere sketch surely your friend will like it.
I had the opportunity to draw a picture for my friend who is currently residing in a hostel.
It was a simple yet meaningful way to let her know how much I value our friendship, even though we don't see each other as often as we'd like.
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
To make the sketch, I started by sketching out a rough outline of my friend's face using a 2HB pencil. Then I erase the extra lines.
I added details such as to her eyes, nose, and lips.
I also added some shading to give the sketch some depth.
Final look!
For me, the process of making this sketch was a lot of fun, and my friend was excited to receive it. It's a great way to show someone how much you care, and it doesn't require any special artistic skills or expensive sketching materials.
So if you're looking for a thoughtful and personal gift for a friend, consider making a sketch.

Did you noticed the eye and eyebrow covered with hairs didn't matched with the left side? Why is that? The answer is too simple. You needed to draw eyes and eyebrows first then you can lighten it and draw hairs on right side on top of that. This will give your sketch and much more realistic look.
