We can't have everything, but a lot of people don't realize it. Always want this and that, and you believe that everything can be achieved and only then can you be happy. We can only dream of getting whatever we want. However, for example, even though we are already the richest in the world, there are still things that money cannot buy.

Many people who want to be rich, have a lot of abundant wealth to be able to have whatever they want in order to be happy. But are we ready to make sacrifices if to get rich we still have problems, maybe even worse and can actually lose things that are more valuable? It could be that the sacrifice is time and friendship, health and tranquility, for family and true love.

So many people have become blind to physical love, adore beauty or good looks. In fact, all that beauty is temporary, withers with age, also bodily pleasures will fade away.

Some other people want to have power, position, influence which ultimately changes ambition. Precisely for the sake of power, people can be enslaved with that ambition, lose their morals, justify any means, and in the end they destroy their souls.

So, hope with the main focus on the well-being of the soul is not just the body, inner pleasures. What you have to want is wisdom or be grateful that along the way you have found the realities that exist in accordance with our wishes.

The secret to happiness is not having many wishes that will be fulfilled. It is precisely the satisfaction of what is already owned without the need for many other desires and clinging to it. The key is to stop looking for things outside yourself and find them inside, not to wait for tomorrow but right now: to Love Life in the Present No Matter What.

I think there is a 2 pronged attack when looking at what we have and what we would hope to have at some point in the future. It is natural to wish for more, whether it be health, wealth, happiness or financial abundance. However if all of your potential happiness is staked on the achievement of some future thing, you will never be happy.

Many of us can relate to this. I will be happy when I lose the excess weight I have, when I make the money I have budgeted for or when I finally get my dream home. This sacrifices todays happiness and abundance or 'places it on ice' until we achieve what we believe we must in order to be complete.

Until we absolutely appreciate and demonstrate gratitude for what we already have, we can never evolve to any of the other things we have in mind. I think it is OK to be happy today while planning for a fulfilled tomorrow. I sincerely believe the secret to life is to be happy and have a meaning/purpose for the future.

Thanks for the opportunity to think on such things. Take great care and have a great end to the weekend and an even better week to follow 🙂👍

Thank you for the additional opinion. I agree with your opinion, and it's as good as it is, as you say.

I see it from the other side, and thank you for appreciating my writing.

Greetings, nice to meet you, have a nice day. ;)
