Part 1: The one with the Empty Coffins.
Nissur since ages has been known for it’s ostrobogulous and mysterious practice of burying empty coffins. What did they do with the corpse? Some believed that the Nissurians cremated their dead ones and kept their bones carved into knives and pendants as their memory and buried an empty coffin of their name. And a few believed, they sacrificed the corpses and performed Satanic rituals. Some rumors even suggested that the Nissurians were cannibals and fed on the dead bodies. But none of the rumors had a concrete evidence. Although the cannibal theory was most believed but no one knew the real truth behind the empty coffins.
Many outsiders including the reporters tried to unveil the contained secret but were always handed with the same old conspiracies.
Cole, his little sister Clairy and parents were set to visit his aunt for the first time after her wedding. She was married to a Nissurian four years ago and didn’t see her since then.
Clairy missed her aunt so much and was hell excited to see her again. Aubree her aunt, babysat Clairy most of the time as Rose was out for work most of the day. They shared great love and fondness for each other. And the bond was incredible. Aunt Aubree was more like a mother than an aunt for little Clairy and was so elated by the fact that she could see her that day.
William had a hint of curve on his lips, hid behind his beard as she hopped into the car with joy.
'Daaad! Let’s go common,’ she yelled at William.
'Clairy, honey, wait for your mom and Cole.'
'They’re always late.’ 'Coole, common,’ she shouted.
Clairy was loved by all, for she was the youngest and the cutest thing of their family. Her chubby cheeks added to her cuteness but invited her trouble all the time. Everyone who saw her didn’t forget to pull her cheeks. She hated that. Especially her brother Cole, he pulled her cheeks at least hundred times a day.
The SUV had hit the road thirty minutes ago and little Clairy fell asleep bored of watching same trees and signals. She smiled in her sleep and Cole smiled watching her.
Cole was fourteen but his brain and wits were more than many normal adults. He was smart and his opinions were never ignored. His suggestions were considered and valued equal to his mother’s.
Cole was not much into his aunt and ever since she eloped with a Nissurian, he never remembered her again until that day. He liked her but was not fond of her like Clairy. Only Clairy had this special attachment with her aunt.
'Is it even safe ?’ asked William.
'What’s wrong William? She’s my sister and we haven’t seen her since her wedding,’ said Cole’s mom Rosy sighing in disgust.
‘You know, its just that the rumors haunt me.’
'They are all false and moreover Aubree is my sister. We’ll be fine,’ she explained.
'Why don’t they come over? Are we gonna arrest them or something?’
'Her husband won’t allow. And once again not all Nissurians are evil,’ said Rosy.
'Yeah that’s true, her husband’s a good guy. Your sister’s still alive and that’s the proof,’ he teased and turned the steering wheel to his right, hitting the muddy road which led to Nissur.

The Village and the one with God’s door!
They were stared as they entered the village of Nissur. Their looks freaked out Cole and he pulled the button closing the window. They stared, the people, the young and the old, the men and the women, everyone in Nissur gave them terrified glares like they hadn’t seen a new human since ages.
‘Uh oh! We’re gonna be on the Satan’s dinner tonight,’ screamed William. 'William, you’re scaring the kids.’ Cole wasn’t scared but smiled and looked at the nastily staring people outside.
The six-year old ran towards the door as she jumped off the car leaving her family behind.
‘Careful Honey!’ shouted Rose.
She stood at the door and knocked expecting a warm hug from her aunt, waiting for the door to open. She couldn’t wait and the door opened. A skinny wrinkly faced woman with bulged blue eye balls appeared at the door. The woman with protruding eye balls looked down at Clairy. Seemed like her they’d fall on her as she bowed. Scared, the little girl ran back to her parents.
‘What’s wrong Clairy? Are you okay?’ asked Rosy.
She pointed towards the woman at the door.
‘That’s grandma honey, don’t be scared. C’mon lets go.’ She said and took Clairy back to the door to greet the old woman. She was Aubree’s mother-in-law.
‘Hii Ms.Blake! How’re you doin?’ Greeted Rose but the woman kept quiet, and nodded without any expressions on her face and stepped aside to let them into the house.
Ms. Blake was an 85 year old widow and she often remained quiet since her husband’s demise. She carried with her a black beaded string and muttered chants all the time. She was quiet but her eyes were scary enough to make an exorcist piss in his pants.
‘Oh my sweet heart, I missed you so much. I really missed you. Look at you, you’ve grown so soon. Do you remember me? I’m your aunt Aubree,’ said Aubree in a trembling tone and kissed her.
‘Of course I do Aunt Aubree. I love you!’ Said Clairy guilelessly and kissed her back.
‘Rose! Dear how are you? Oh my God, after four years!’
‘I’m fine dear. Tell me how are you? You must be fine, I mean look at you, you’ve grown pretty and gorgeous,’ said Rosy making her blush.
She came to hug Cole with same compassion but he hated that approach. He felt that it was her melodrama to fake love. If she had really loved them, she would’ve called them for a visit or would’ve herself come to visit them in those four years, thought Cole. But she had barely even spoke to them on phone in those four years. It was Cole’s mother who took the risk of visiting Nissur for her sister.
Cole forced a smile and stood by his mom waiting for Aubree to show their space.
The house was ramshackle with cement patches every where like a typical village house. It had cob webs everywhere. It was probably more than a century old. It had only the ground floor but the area was vast and had more than 8 rooms including a huge hall and three bedrooms.
Aubree led them to show her house. And as they walked, Cole saw a small metallic door beside the kitchen. Unlike all the other doors of the house, it had inscriptions in tribal language carved on it. It seemed beautiful but spooky at the same time and caught his attention and intrigued, he asked out. ‘What’s that room?’
‘Ah, that’s where your uncle prays. It’s a prayer room dear,’ said Aubree with a smiling face. ‘Can I have a look at that?’ he asked.
‘Maybe, but that’s a sacred room Cole, and only the ones who worship the Tribal Gods get to visit the room. No one else is allowed,’ she explained.
‘It’s okay aunt Aubree, I won’t step inside, I’ll just stand out and have a look.’
‘No, no, no. I am so sorry dear but I don’t hold the authority to do that. Maybe your uncle knows better, you can ask him when he’s back,’
'And don’t touch the room without our knowledge. Never!,’ she stressed and walked ahead quickly.
Aubree’s behavior gave rise to a suspicion in Cole’s mind and he wouldn’t let that go without a hit. What sort of a religion or God doesn’t allow the people to visit his temples or prayer rooms, he thought.
She showed them her room and Clairy’s eyes fell on the kid lying on the bed.
‘Who’s that aunty?’ she asked in a soft voice.
‘That’s your little brother sweetheart. He’s asleep. You can play with him when he’s awake.’ It was Aubree’s four year old son.
They gathered in the living room for dinner and Aubree spread the mat and they sat on the ground to eat. This custom was new to the family but they sat quiet and shared awkward smiles with Aubree and her husband.
Cole’s eyes were on Aubree’s husband, he wanted to ask him for a tour to his prayer room. He was a muscular, stout man with eyes as bulged as his mother’s which fell on Cole as he stared at him involuntarily wondering of what might be in the room. He smiled but Cole had no reaction. Although Cole’s eye balls were on his uncle, his mind was yet revolving around the room.
‘Cole? Are you okay?’ he asked in a heavy voice.
‘Ha? Yea.. yeah, I’m fine,’ he said getting out of the day dream and began eating his food. He tried to ask his uncle to show the room but his parents would never stop talking, so that he could present his request on the table. He waited and the moment of silence finally arrived.
‘Uncle Marooze?’
‘Yeah Cole? Need some meat?’ he asked pushing the salver with meat towards Cole.
‘No, no I’m good,’ he nodded.
‘Hmm?’ he re-inquired with his wide open eyes on Cole.
While Cole hesitated to ask, Aubree joined the conversation and said.
‘He actually wants to visit the prayer room, I told him it was sacred and people don’t get to visit that unless they worship our deity,’ explained Aubree.
‘Yeah right! I am sorry Cole but to visit the room you gotta join our religion,’ he added.
‘Fine by me, I’m ready to join and worship your deity,’ said Cole confidently.
‘And we’re gonna let you do so huh? said William with anger. ‘And what kinda religion is it where people are not allowed to see the God at the first place?’
Marooze didn’t answer to that and shifted the topic to Cole’s school and grades.
‘Uncle Marooze, can’t I stand outside the room and have a look?’
‘I don’t think so,’ he said rudely.
‘But the door itself is so epic. I wonder what would be inside. The antiques, the bodies. Oh, I’m sorry. I meant the effigies.’
‘Enough Cole, he said no. Now shut up and eat,’ yelled Rosy.
‘Oh, thanks Rose,’ said Marooze.
Cole was stubborn and bullheaded, he had decided to sneak into the room once he got a chance. But it was locked and he didn’t know where the keys were kept.
Next day, he waited for someone among Marooze’s family to open the door for prayer. He sat in the drawing room with Clairy while she played with Aubree’s son Ezra. Ezra was a cute kid and Clairy loved the company of the four-year old Ezra. He was cute but wore a dull look on his face all the time. Clairy was cheerful and tried to cheer up Ezra most often but he was a calm kid.
It was almost noon but none of them seemed to open the door. Everyone had their chores to settle with. Aubree was cleaning the utensils, her husband was out for work and grandma was busy counting the beads on the string. She never spoke. Cole also had a mini mission to hear her speak. The day passed and the door was left untouched. He tried to sneak into his aunt’s room to check for keys but the kitchen was right across the bedroom. And when she was not in the kitchen, she was in her bedroom if she went to the bathroom, grandma was there to check on Cole.
He waited till night to check if he could do something.
It was 3 AM and the sounds of the heavy snores resounded in the house. He checked if his parents were asleep and slowly slipped out of the room. The slippers made noise as he screeched. The noise of friction between his slippers and the floor seemed louder than a cat’s cry at that hour. He began plodding towards the room.
He tried to push open the door but that was something beyond his muscle’s purview. He peeped through the keyhole but it was dark inside. He tried to look through with different angles to let the light into the keyhole so that he could manage to see at least a hint of the room. His pupil began to adjust with the darkness and yet he couldn’t see anything. He stood there trying to figure out some way which could make him through the door. And suddenly!
A hand landed from behind on his shoulder. He turned around slowly to look at the owner and her large bulged eyes scared him and he gasped at the horrid scene. It was grandma and this time her eyes protruded even more out of her sockets making her look even more terrifying than usual. She just stood still and stared at him yet muttering the chants. She didn’t speak a word, just gestured with her hand to go back.
‘I was just.. just..’ , he tried to explain but the old lady put her finger on her lips gesturing him to shut up.
That was a terrifying moment for him but he was not done yet and he came back next day. This time with the keys, which he managed to get after he traduced Ezra with some city chocolates when no one was around.
That night at 3:30 AM, he made sure the grandma was asleep by the snores.
It was a bunch of keys which included an antique key. It was different from the other keys and was larger than the others with inscriptions similar to the door carved on it. He went to the door and tried the special key first but that didn’t seem to fit. Then he tried the other keys one after the other. That was like an unending bunch of keys and he was more afraid this time. He was anxious of what would be inside and the consequences if caught? This time he definitely was not going to be bailed. He turned the keys into the hole one after the other and this time the key took a full round inside the hole. But the lock was two levered and he turned it again. And the mystery room was open for the little detective.
'Mission Accomplished!’ He muttered with joy and pushed the heavy door. It was dark inside and he looked for the switch board. And before he could reach to find the board, he was dragged outside the room by the old lady again.
She breathed heavily in agitation until her face turned red. Cole was dead this time. She was so religious and he seemed to have violated her religious rules. She was not gonna spare him and would eat him raw he thought. He started blabbering out of fear to explain himself. She heard nothing but clasped his arm so tight and pulled him up to his room and dropped him there.
'Not again!’ She gestured waving her index finger with an intense stare. She stood there until he climbed his bed and closed his eyes. With that he lost his spirit and decided not to touch the door again. He wanted to leave the house and spoke to Rose about it but she wouldn’t listen.

The Sinister.
'Rose! I’ll be back in a moment. I gotta make a call. Got a meeting with a client.’
'Okay come back soon, the lunch is ready,’ she said.
He walked a distance and lit a cigarette while he spoke to a client on his phone.
'It won’t be possible until next week. I’ll look into it as soon as I get back there,’ he said on the phone. ‘No that’s not possible at all.’ ‘I’m at Nissur,’ he said and hung up.
'Oh dear, the way these creeps stare,’ he said to himself and walked.
'Is he the new one?’ he heard a child asking the other as he walked past them.
'They’re four of them. It’s a family,’ whispered the other kid.
‘God save them from the n..’
‘Shhh!’ he’s hearing,’ he said shutting the kids mouth with his hands.
William was never willing to visit Nissur but he couldn’t say no to Rose and Clairy. Their excitement had convinced him to take up the risk. But now, the people, their nasty looks and the children’s talk spooked him out completely. He thought about the village and it’s eerie history, and then his family who was supposedly in danger. He could wait no longer and strode back to the house.
‘Rose! Rose!’
‘HAA? I’m here,’ she called from the bedroom.
‘Rose! Listen!’ he came running.
‘Yea? What’s wrong?’
‘We gotta leave today.,’ he said panting.
‘But why? We’re enjoying ourselves aren’t we?’
‘Yes we are, but I’ve got an important task to do. There’s a client ….. and ….and I’ve got to deal with his property tomorrow. I’ve got to be there and I can’t leave you guys here,’ he said panting heavily.
‘Okay relax, is there any way it could be postponed or something?’
‘No, Honey. Where are kids? Pack your bags we’re leaving by 11.’
‘Alright lemme inform Aubree,’ she said and went to speak to Aubree.
‘Aubree?’ shouted Rosy.
‘Yeah Rose? Need something? Is everything okay?’ asked Aubree.
‘Yeah, yeah it’s fine. But listen we gotta leave now, William’s got to deal with a client. It’s urgent.’
'Okay?’
'Yeah, we must leave today.’
‘Okay but how could you go? I mean you’re here after four years and didn’t stay even for a week?’
‘I understand how you feel but dear, now it’s about William and his work.’
‘Alright, I’m not letting you go. It’s Ezra’s birthday the day after.’
‘Oh my God.’ ‘But you never told us,’ asked Rosy with surprise.
‘It was supposed to be a surprise Rose, we’ve planned a grand function for his birthday. Lemme speak to Willam. I’ll convince him,’ she said and walked towards William’s room.
‘I hope he agrees to stay,’ murmured Rosy.
She walked into William’s bedroom and with a baby face she asked. ‘Are you guys planning to leave?’
‘Yeah Aubree, this thing appeared out of blue and we’ve got no choice. We’ll come back again sometime. Soon,’ he said pacifying her.
‘It’s not about that, it’s Ezra’s birthday next tomorrow,’ she said in a shaky voice.
‘What? But you never said that before,’ he said raising his hands with surprise.
‘Oh God that was supposed to be a surprise William. We got a huge party planned for the day.’
‘Aubree, look I’m sorry but there’s no choice left it’s either the party or my job.’
‘Ezra’s been celebrating his birthday without friends. It was just us at his birthdays, none of you guys came and now you’ve come but leaving right before his birthday. William, you are free to go but leave Rose and kids here, I can’t break Ezra’s heart,’ she said crying.
‘Okay let me think over.’
‘She was lying and her tears were fake. She had never mentioned about the birthday or the party before. We wanted to leave and a party comes up. It’s a trap. But it won’t be easy to persuade Rosy after this. She has a soft heart and she would be easily swayed by Aubree’s words,’ thought William.
‘But how could we hurt that kid, just look at him. He has been alone without any friends on his birthdays. Now he has got a friend and you want me to snatch her away from him?’
‘Rose, you don’t understand. I can’t leave you here. Neither the kids.’
‘It’s gonna be fine William stop worrying so much. We’ll be fine. And could you work with peace after hurting the kid on his birthday?’
‘Is that even real? She’s just bluffing,’ said William turning his head away from her.
‘No, she’s not. I know her. She won’t lie dear.’
‘Okay fine. I’ll cancel the deal.’
The birthday! He was afraid it was his and his family’s death day. He wondered what on earth would happen that day. Would they be sacrificed to their deity? Or would they be cut into pieces and served to the whole village?
Another night and the clock ticked 1:30. It was Aubree this time. She was in the bedroom with Rose and her family. They were all asleep and Aubree sat by Clairy’s bed. She sat by her bed on a chair and watched as the cute kid slept. It seemed like she leered at Clairy’s cheeks and felt them with her hand. She gently pulled her cheek and admired the fluffiness of it.
‘HUHHHHH!’ Rose woke up and gasped.
‘Hey Rose are you alright?’ asked Aubree.
‘Huh, huh, huh, I’m fine. What are you doing here?’ she said breathing heavily.
‘I was just watching her sleep. I’m sorry.’
‘But this way? At this hour in somebody’s bedroom?’, she asked after she drank the water.
‘Oh Rose, I’m so sorry. I just felt nostalgic of how I played with her and babysat her and watched her sleep when she was two. She’s just as cute as she was then,’ she said looking at the ceiling.
‘Hmm’
'Are you okay?’ asked Aubree.
'Yeah,' she said nodding her head.
‘Sorry once again dear. Take care, good night!’ she said as she walked out of the room.
‘No problem, good night.’
She was petrified and aghast by Aubree’s uncanny behaviour.
Strange things happened every day and night. And one after the other the whole family was spooked out by the house members and the village. None of them were aware of what was going to follow.
Yet another night and it was with Cole. The sounds from the prayer room blew his sleep. He heard thuds from the prayer room and knew someone was there. It was the best time to bust them, he thought but was scared about the scary eyed old lady at the same time. But for him to get his family out of the village, he had to prove them what he thinks is true.
He gathered his guts and tiptoed towards the room and making sure that the old lady was asleep, he peeped through the key hole. It was light time. He saw Marooze and Aubree facing towards the wall as they landed blows with a scimitar. He knew it was human flesh. There were huge chopping boards with huge chunks of meat on it. He unveiled their secret. He felt happy but mostly scared and ran to his mom.
‘Mom wake up. I’ve got something to show you. Wake up!’ he said shaking her. ‘Mom! Wake up! Mom!’
‘What’s it Cole?’ she asked in a dull voice.
‘Mom, the prayer room you should see that,’ he whispered.
‘Stop it Cole, enough of your dramas. Just sleep.’
‘This time Mom. This one time please come with me.’
They tiptoed and this time, Rose peeped through the hole and slapped Cole. He heard moaning sounds from inside, they were having sex.
'That was so close.’ Aubree murmured to Marooze.
'Yeah, we should tell them soon,’ said Marooze.
That was so embarrassing for Cole. He wanted to show her the human meat, he thought they were chopping but never expected this to happen.
‘I never expected this from you,’ said Aubree as she walked back to the room.
‘But mom, I didn’t.’
‘Just shut up, shut up! Alright? You’ll be punished for this.’
She was so disappointed with Cole. She was so disturbed by the incident and wanted to talk to William about it. But she waited for Cole to sleep. It was almost an hour after the incident and Cole finally went into a deep sleep and she shook William to wake him up
‘Oh Rose let me sleep,’ said William.
‘Just wake up, I want to talk.’
‘Check the clock Rose. It’s midnight.’
‘William it’s important. Wake up!’
He woke up and she explained to him what happened earlier that night.
‘Our Cole did that?’ he asked in surprise.
‘Yes!’
‘Are you sure Rose because he’s a smart kid and I don’t see that from him.’
‘You don’t trust me?’
‘I do Rose but this is unbelievable. Why would Cole take you to show your sister doing that? I mean he’s a kid,’ he explained.
‘That’s true.’
‘Oh wait! They were having sex in the prayer room? But that was so sacred for them?’ he asked in realization.
‘Oh my God yes, how come I didn’t realize it was the prayer room they were doing in? Something’s seriously wrong in this place,’ she said with surprise.
‘I know. That’s why I wanted us all to get back to our city. The whole client and meeting thing was a lie. I heard a few kids talking about us and our family when I was out and it scared me so much,’ he explained.
‘Oh Jesus!’ ‘And yesterday, Aubree was staring at Clairy, when all of us were sleeping. She was sitting next to her bed and watched her. That was so scary,’ she said in a shaky voice and started crying.
‘What do we do? Shall we go back?’ asked William.
‘Yes, but, how do we convince Aubree? It’s her son’s birthday tomorrow.’
‘The day has already begun, its today, the birthday,’ said William.
‘I think we should stay for today and leave tomorrow,’ suggested Rosy.
‘Yes, let’s pray for the best.’
‘Heyy, do you think they were faking the sex? Shall we go and check once? What if Cole wanted to show you something else?’

The Unexpected!
Cole woke up and looked at Clairy on his right. But the bed next to her was empty. His parents were gone. He quickly jumped off his bed and searched for his parents everywhere in the house. The bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom. They were no where. The prayer room was the only room left.
‘Where are my parents?’ he asked Aubree.
‘Good morning Cole! They’re out to the church they’ll be back in a while. Brush your teeth, I’ll serve you breakfast,’ she said as she cooked tea in the kitchen.
‘You’re lying they don’t go to church leaving me and Clairy. They take us with them every time,’ he shouted.
‘Cole relax, I’m not lying. They went to the church an hour ago and they’ll be back any moment,’ said Aubree.
‘No, you hid them in that room,’ shouted Cole.
‘What are you saying Cole? Are you mad?’ yelled Aubree.
‘Hey hey what’s wrong? Aubree? What’s going on?’ asked Marooze with astonishment.
‘I told him William and Rose went to the church but he won’t believe,’ explained Aubree.
‘Cole they went to the church. We’re not lying,’ said Marooze trying to calm Cole.
‘You killed my parents. I know what you do in that room. That’s where you kill people and make their pieces,’ he said and cried.
‘What?’ they said in unison.
‘Enough of acting, I watched you chopping the meat and when I brought my mom to the door you pretended to be doing something else,’ he said and ran to the door and started banging it. ‘Open the door!’ ‘I know you kept my parents inside,’ he shouted.
‘There is nothing inside the room,’ said Marooze while Aubree was crying.
Cole ran into the kitchen and brought a knife with him to threaten them.
‘Open the door or I’ll kill you,’ said Cole pointing the knife at them.
‘Put the knife down Cole,’ Marooze said calmly.
‘No!’ he shouted.
‘I said put the goddamn knife down!’ shouted Marooze.
‘No, I’ll kill you,’ he said bravely.
He then looked around and caught Aubree’s son. He then put the knife on the kid’s throat and yelled ‘Open the door or I’ll kill him. I’ll kill Ezra just open the door.’
‘It’s his birthday, please let him go. We can’t open the door Cole please let him go,’ cried Aubree.
‘I don’t care, I just need my parents back. Step back or I’ll move the knife into his throat,’ said Cole as Marooze tried to rescue his son.
He then took Ezra with the knife still on his throat to Aubree’s bedroom to get the keys.
‘Just stay away or the knife will work,’ he said opening the door.
He entered the room and it had the smell of flesh and blood inside. It stank so bad. He saw the chopping board, the knives and looked around for his parents.
‘Where are my parents damn it?’ he yelled.
'Mommy.. he’s pinching..,’ cried Ezra.
‘Believe us Cole, they’ve gone to Church,’ 'And just leave the kid alone,’ he screamed and his face turned red.
‘No, you must have hid them somewhere, just tell me and I’ll let him go,’
'Cole? Where’s mom dad? asked Clairy as she stepped inside the room.
'I’ve searched them everywhere. They’re not here,’ she said in a soft voice as everyone had their eyes on her.
‘Clairy!! come here fast they’ll catch you. They hid our parents,’ shouted Cole but Marooze caught her before she could analyse.
‘Let Ezra go and get out of the room or I’ll kill your sister,’ threatened Marooze.
‘No, no I don’t care.’ ‘I just need my parents.’ 'Daddy help me please,’ said Ezra and cried loudly.
'Cole what’s happening? Help me!’ cried Clairy.
Marooze had nothing to harm Clairy, this made Cole confident and kept going.
He had lost hope, Cole was sure his parents were dead by then but he kept fighting. His eyes fell on another small door just as similar as the main one. His parents might be inside, he thought and a ray of hope hit him.
‘What’s this room?’ he asked in hope.
‘No, Cole just stay away from that door,’ warned Marooze.
‘Cole please! Your parents are not there,’ screamed Aubree with tears.
‘My parents are inside, my parents are inside,’ he said and tried to open the door.
‘Cole no, Cole step back, Cole wait!!’ Marooze said as he tried to rescue Ezra.
‘You step back or Ezra’s dead,’ he said and pushed the tip of the knife into Ezra’s skin for a drop of blood.
He sat beside the door facing Marooze and Aubree, to make sure they don’t attack. He tried the keys until he realized the special key would fit in. And he put the big special key into the hole and turned it once.
‘Nooo! Cole please nooo. There’s a ..’
And before Aubree could complete, he had turned it twice and with a gush of wind the door banged open and Clairy who stood right in front of the door had gone into the door with the nasty, red huge hands that picked her.
The wind blew into the room and the fear could be felt. The lights flickered and the door from which it took Clairy was still banging against the wall.
Cole was in shock with everyone and asked, ’Where’s Clairy?’
No one answered him. He asked again, 'Where’s my sister?’
'Who took it inside? Bring her back!’ he cried and banged at the door.
He tried to get inside the door but Marooze took him and locked the door.
'Clairy’s inside why’d you lock the door?’ 'Just open it,’ he said punching and kicking the door.
He wept and Aubree cried with him.
'Bring back Clairy, Clairy! Clairy!!’ he screamed at the door but Clairy was gone.
'What’s happening?’ asked a voice from behind. It was William.
Rose watched Cole crying and asked with fright.
'Where’s Clairy?’ she asked and her heart pounded heavily in fear.
'Where’s my daughter? Would someone tell me, where’s my daughter? she shouted.
'He took him!’, spoke the old woman for the first time.
'Who? Who took my daughter?’ she screamed and wept.
'NISSUR, THE DEVIL.' she answered in a dead voice and the whole room went silent again.
And another empty coffin was buried in the village.
