RE: A gratitude post - What are you grateful for?

in OCD5 years ago

I'm grateful for being able to walk again today. It may be normal to be able to walk and take everything for granted, you may only realise that when you can't walk anymore.
So today I'm grateful I can make a few steps on my own 😊
Great post by the way.

Walking should never be taken for granted so I'm glad you are able to walk again.

I have a good friend who stepped on a land mine on the battlefield. He lost one leg in an instant and the other was taken later as it was so damaged. He has prosthetic legs now, but for years was unable to walk. He never complained though, just got on with his life...Now he walks and it's amazing to see such happiness on his face just through doing something many take for granted.

It's a nice thing to be grateful that you can walk @erikah and I hope you continue to walk more and more.

Thanks for responding.
