Do you have any idea why PeakD asks for the ACTIVE key just to join?

I was about to sign in as I'm already on Hive, and was shocked when it asked for my ACTIVE key just to start using PeakD.

I backed right out...

    We don't.

    Which login method are you using?

    • Hive-Keychain doesn't require active key
    • PeakLock doesn't even allow active key.
    • Hivesigner... not sure.

      Hivesigner. Just tried it again now, here's the actual text:

      Authorize (active)
      peakd.app
      The peakd.app requires your posting authority in order for you to be able to interact with it. By clicking "Continue" you are allowing posting access. This can be withdrawn by you at any time by clicking HERE.

      This transaction requires your active key.

        This is the standard login procedure with Hivesigner. You have to grant the posting authority (and to do this the active key is required). If you don't want to use the active key you can login with Keychain or Peaklock and use only the posting key.
