Yep, I also hope that I will have the van when I retire, but first comes my daughter - her college and living will cost us quite some money in the next years, and our son doesn't earn much as long as he's an apprentice which will last till 2024.

Only joking and both Marian and I were lucky as we got serious discounts for our degree studies because of our charity work.

Yep, lies come easy but are hard to keep.
The limits are too low to get it. My wife and I together earn just too much and it doesn't matter how much we have to spend for living.
Charity work here is different.

My wife could have had a much better paid job in town but she preferred to stay at our department, and so did I - money isn't everything. Our office is out of town and it's green around - in town it's all dark and gray.
Not everyone has enough here, many poor people can't even afford enough food or heat their home in Winter.

Great that your office is in the greens and you don't want to see some of the dark places that we have to go into with our charity work.
Always the case isn't it. I abhor for a lack of a better word, the fact that some children have to go to bed hungry. Something is terribly wrong with our financial systems.
