#walkwithme Challenge Complete!

in OCD5 years ago

And to be brutally honest, I am so happy this is over with 😂 I challenged myself to go for a walk 28 days in a row so that I could rewire my brain with a new habit.

The idea is since I have tortured myself for 28 days, now I'll want to go for walks. I sure hope it works! Bwa hahhahahhahaa! I guess only time will tell...

Walk 25

Incredible sunset that night. I looked out my window and saw the hills were on fire with beautiful light.

IMG_4404.JPG

I got out with my camera and documented as it went from orange, to pink to purple...

It won't be long until the hills are green again...

Back home and had to take one last pic down by the water. I just couldn't believe how purple the reflection of the sky was. I was Soooooo happy that it showed up on camera, lots of times I can't capture sunsets the way they look in RL.

Walk 26

A perfectly dreary day, I'll still find some beauty though!

This will be green and knee high before we know it, instead of looking like the roadkill version of Cousin Itt.

Walk 27

I decided to conquer Heart Attack Hill one last time. This was my third time going up it in the challenge. It was a lot easier! I was sweaty at the top, but not nearly as winded.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog #HIVEfam. I hope you're having a wonderful time wherever you are in the world. I came across this quote today and it's just so apt.

I feel this every day, yet have never been able to articulate it before:

WOW amazing photos of the hawk! What a celebration for completing your quest!
I really love the sunset in the trees!! :D
I need a forest. 😭

Arrggg wantz to kidnap you and kittehs!!

Great post!

Thank you Jaki! I'm glad you liked it 😘

Ooh kidnap me they can't ask for a passport if I'm kidnapped. ;D
And then once I'm there I can just be like, "No, see, my grandparents were born here, OF COURSE I can stay!"

Flaw in plan...I don't have a pp either ... we'll have to go by river and sea!

We should just channel our inner Karens and be like, BACK IN MY DAY YOU DIDN'T NEED A PASSPORT TO CROSS BETWEEN THE US AND CANADA WHAT IS THIS NAZI GERMANY I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER!
I could also go to Maine and then just hop in a boat and be like, hey, my ancestors have been doing this since forever, your borders mean nothing - which it turns out is true. Did I tell you that while I was working on my family tree, I discovered my great grandparents - the ones from New Brunswick - on the US census in Maine in 1900, and I was totally flabbergasted because my grandma was born in New Brunswick and that's where their farm was? Well that's the part of the family where I have Mi'kmaq ancestors and there are Mi'kmaq folx in Maine so my running theory is that that was just some normal, hey we travel around for visiting family or fishing or whatever because this is ALL Mi'kmaq land, your borders are meaningless - and they just happened to be on that side of the arbitrary line at that time that the census happened. I mean, I can't know 100% for certain, but that's the only thing I can figure since they went back later and my grandma was born in NB. XD
Family tree research is WILD, yo. And it makes me cuss a lot because old records suck. LOL

Yesssss I do remember your ancestry, I would just be bringing you home Fren! (Well, two meaningless borders away from home, we'd have to get you to the other side of the Bay of Fundy to really get you home!) Sigh...

GrandPA is from Nova Scotia, so either works. :D Sydney Mines, remember? I think I told you that part. LOL

That's one epic design!

Congratulations on your trip and thank you for sharing good photos ...

Thank you @murtaza 😊
