I've been practicing gratitude for few years now. It started with writing down my daily gratitude list in a notebook then I participated in/created gratitude challenges and posts on the blockchain. The most common things I am grateful for are a cup of coffee, sunsets and our family garden so at this point those things kind of 'trigger' my gratitude. Finding gratitude in the simple, everyday things is my favorite.

Exactly! It's not just about big things, momentous occasions; Gratitude can be felt and shown all day every day which clearly you do. It seems like you're a gratitude ninja although in your profile picture you are not ninja-like at all! Lol

Haha, thanks! I still deal with negative thoughts and 'life is not fair' moments, I get in a rut of feeling down and all that jazz. :)
But I do feel like gratitude and just being more gentle with myself when these phases come helped me a lot to deal with them.
We all have down moments, even gratitude-ninjas like you. It's what we do in the down moments, the bad times, that defines us though...It's a chance to be our best when life challenges us. 🙂
