So today is my Day 6 which will be about What I'm Afraid Of

What I'm Afraid Of

When I was younger I guess my greatest fear was to miss my best Saturday morning cartoon, you know I still see my junior brother been sad because he missed his favorite cartoon, and I'm just stunned thinking of all possible worries on earth you worry because of a cartoon? But you see that's his own memory level.

So fear are many things to many people, why I said all this is because what is a fear to me might be complete foolishness to you (by the way I'm already shy here)

Hmm, My Greatest Fear is loosing Christ, let me explain, in my previous blogs I've always talked about a condition I've always suffered right from my childhood which was depression, this took place until I met Christ, then it stopped even though it still comes and go but He as given me the strength to overcome at every point.

Down the journey lane I've come to a state of complete reliance on Him (when I say complete reliance, I mean I've come to the point where I know it can only be Christ, but I still fail to rely on Him, most of the time but He has never failed once), and now I know His is the only One Who sustains me, He has become my only Source of Joy and Hope.

I don't really care what people think about Him, some say He doesn't exist, some treat Him with levity, and like Apostle Paul I can say "I know Whom I have believed, and I am persuaded".

I know those who are Christian will say but Christ has promised to never leave nor forsake us, so why fear? I know fully well but is it ever easy to see that possibility with this frail minds of ours? Most especially in trying times.

I've really given it a lot of thought "if Christ leaves" then my eternal punishment won't start in Hell but right from earth because He is the only thing I have, and nothing else can replace Him.

This might make sense to some, and complete foolishness to some but really its reality for me. And to the atheists I understand it really hard to believe what you don't have evidence or see with the eyes but yet beyond all doubt I tell you God Exist.

And one day you'll need Him but remember He is ever ready to receive you, just call on Him nothing else, don't wait till you are perfect just come the way you are.

Peace be with you all.

Hmmm... The fear of loosing Christ and his kingdom is actually something to fear of. I totally understand you, and I love how you open up your fear.

Even if I didn't mention it in my blog, failing to be part of those who would be allowed to be in his kingdom is also a fear of mine.

Thanks for reminding me of this. Kindly chat me up on discord.

Everyone needs Christ too, and he is everything we all need. But we still have people who doesn't believe in Christ Jesus. Hopefully we can reach out to them with the help of God...

That's absolutely true, and we can only try to let them know but it really Christ Himself who can draw them to Himself.

Absolutely right.

Cheers @suffgrace
