When I was little I never really celebrated Christmas!

I can't remember my family celebrating Christmas apart from when I went to church. I never really was aware what it was about. Yes, in this season back then my house had some lights and sometimes a Christmas tree but the same spirit ( feel and thoughts) I have now I didn't have back then.
Now that I got older and experienced it different as in people sharing with each other and then I mean not just presents but food, love, clothes, culture, the respect people have for this holiday, this season, and the birthday of Christ and so much more.

For me Christmas is about giving without expecting because Jesus gave without expecting anything from us in return. So yes it's about sharing the love with one another, decorating your home with lights and a Christmas tree & candles, eating delicious meals, giving gifts and so much more to invite the Christmas spirit and welcoming it.
Now I have kids and I want to make sure they experience Christmas the way it really has to be experienced. I want them to know what it is all about, I want them to remember this season and the reason why we celebrate it.
For me to fully enjoy and make the best out of this season is not by having a perfectly planned season. This year I am late with decorating and cleaning and planning, but who wants a perfect Christmas?
I'm still cleaning and decorating but you know what I think, that it is also a part of it all because I'm not disappointed in not being on time instead we are enjoying & laughing, sharing our time with others while giving love, helping others welcoming the Christmas spirit.
This gives much joy!
Why did I write all this?
Because in the past, many Christmasses ago I have celebrated this season without much and sometimes nothing and I know that some people out there aren't fortunate like some of us, they aren't able to decorate because they have no home or money or for some reason and maybe they have no money to buy gifts and eat delicious food and that's why sharing is important.
All want to say is that even without all of that you can still experience and feel the Christmas spirit if you give and if you share!
So those of us who have it all or maybe some, please share with others who don't have much.
