Que tal amigos artistas! Una semana mas nos convoca a dejar nuestra creatividad volar. Esta propuesta se hace todas las semanas, la pueden encontrar aquí. Todas las semanas se califican los trabajos y son votados por la comunidad y el jurado de LMAC. Semana a semana los participantes nos deleitan con sus exóticas y hermosas piezas. Yo personalmente lo considero un reto que se transformó en una parte de mi rutina.
Este trabajo en particular me tomó bastantes mas horas de lo usual. No encontraba que la imagen me quedara balanceada. Así que fui modificándola y agregándole cosas hasta que tomó sentido. Creo que esta llena de detalles que buscan fusionar las imagenes para que parezcan lo mas naturales posibles.
Comencé removiendo todo por encima del nivel del horizonte, arbustos, arbolitos y demás objetos incluido el cielo. En su lugar fui colocando donas y otros objetos de pastelería.
Luego de cortar el cielo, hice lo mismo con las esferas que estaban sobre el pasto. Mi idea fue transformarlas en naves espaciales, y dejar las que estaban en el suelo como los restos de la batalla.
Luego seleccione unos cañones que serían las armas de las naves, con un poco de color y algún filtro aquí y allá quedaron excelentes.
Aun así me parecía que el lienzo estaba demasiado vacío así que puse manos a la obra y comencé a rellenar el paisaje. Los dulces en el horizonte junto a los caracoles comenzaron a darle vida a la situación, dibujé un rastro de la mucosidad y le aplique algunos efectos, también agregue una estatua y una luna que utilice en mi trabajo anterior.
Creo que el trabajo valió la pena. Estuve unos dos días haciéndolo entre otras tareas. Si bien se me hizo largo es algo que disfruto mucho de hacer y me genera mucho placer admirar el trabajo terminado. Mas cuando representa un desafío como en este caso. Realmente hubo momentos donde lo miraba y me cuestionaba la posibilidad de borrar todo y empezarlo desde cero. Pero luego de poner y quitar varias docenas de imágenes diferentes pude romper esa traba.
Espero que hayan disfrutado de mi trabajo de esta semana! Estuve mirando y como siempre hay excelentes exposiciones de la comunidad. La competencia se puso realmente dura pero eso lo hace mas interesante, es bueno ver como todos vamos mejorando nuestras muestra cada semana.
How about artist friends! One more week calls us to let our creativity fly. This proposal is made every week, you can find it here. Every week the works are graded and voted on by the community and the LMAC jury. Week after week the participants delight us with their exotic and beautiful pieces. I personally consider it a challenge that became a part of my routine.
This particular job took me quite a few more hours than usual. I didn't find that the image was balanced. So I modified it and added things to it until it made sense. I think it is full of details that seek to merge the images so that they look as natural as possible.
I started by removing everything above the horizon level, bushes, trees and other objects including the sky. In their place I placed donuts and other pastry objects.
After cutting out the sky, I did the same with the spheres that were on the grass. My idea was to transform them into spaceships, and leave the ones that were on the ground as the remains of the battle.
Then select some cannons that would be the weapons of the ships, with a little color and a filter here and there they turned out excellent.
Even so, it seemed to me that the canvas was too empty, so I got to work and began to fill in the landscape. The sweets on the horizon next to the snails began to give life to the situation, I drew a trail of mucus and applied some effects to it, I also added a statue and a moon that I used in my previous work.
I think the work was worth it. I spent about two days doing it among other tasks. Although it took me a long time, it is something that I really enjoy doing and it gives me a lot of pleasure to admire the finished work. But when it represents a challenge like in this case. There were really moments where I looked at it and questioned the possibility of deleting everything and starting from scratch. But after adding and removing several dozen different images I was able to break that block.
I hope you enjoyed my work this week! I was looking and as always there are excellent exhibitions from the community. The competition got really tough but that makes it more interesting, it's good to see how we are all improving our samples every week.
