The craze for AI is already at the peak in every field. Every one in industries or home or at office needs faster productivity with more precision.
Now a days AI and machine reading has become a very essential part and the demands is touching the moon.
It seems engineering is now been integrated. Mechanical systems with help of electronics and electrical engineering are getting programmed to automate the system.
It has given to the concept of Mechatronics - A branch of engineering that is responsible to create a perfect automated cloosed loop system.
But after the developement of robots and AI, humans are getting sacked from the job. As a human, we tend to make mistake, but as a robot, they cant create error as they are programmed.
Look at autonomous cars, they have taken the job of drivers. There are robots, which can succesfully operate a human with minimal error and high rate of success. Robots can be used for diagnosis too.
So clearly, it going to threat the employment of human. Again at other side though we can produce more product in less time, the demand will not increase due to unemployment.
I feel a time will come, when robot will be producing robots without any human involvement and it will again reduce the employment (Such factories still exist).

interesting choice of topic.
Many people out there seem to believe, that technology will create more jobs than it will cause to disappear. And it may be true. However currently technology is moving forward way faster than "we humans" can and transition period can be very painful for many.
Of course can. For that one reason: because there are programmed - mistakes can and will happen. Show me one operating system that doesn't have patches and errors. Which cannot be hacked and never goes down.

I believe that robotic automation will, in time, replace many manual jobs which can be done more efficiently and accurately by robotic automation and machine learning. I do believe though that evolution will give us a chance to develop more valued jobs in society which perhaps we cannot even imagine now. That is what happened during the industrial revolution where at that time, everyone had the same fears for their jobs. AI is still quite young and needed to be developed more.
With the gradual advancement in technology, I became also scared of this particular issue and I told a friend about it.
Like a suggestion raised by a writer within the project hope community, ethics should has to be maintained with this gradual evolvement before things get out of control totally.
Please use the nobel hashtag only for charity posts.
Steam engines also reduced the employment. But new professions appeared.
The other question is, if changes will be very fast, or slower. If there is enough time, more people can adapt and learn new skills.
Personally, I feel it is a treat because gradually machines are replacing human power and we are going to have a number of jobless people real soon, and about robots creating robots, i do not even want to think about it because at that point, we are obviously replaced.
