I think it's a shame that people focus so much on the short term prices and make decisions about writing content based on that. If there is one thing I have learned it is that constantly writing content on Hive and powering up (and staking tokens but maybe selling a few too - I like a 50/50 split) regardless of the current price works out in the long run.
Steem activity died down a lot after the previous bull market top at about $29k BTC but those of us that kept writing content and powering up have benefitted greatly even without the fork (which was a huge bonus!).

En lo personal estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo, las personas que no conocen mucho del mundo cripto, se dejan llevar mucho por las emociones y por la actualidad de mercado y no piensan en el largo plazo, estas personas tienen una mala concepción y poco entendimiento de como funciona el mercado y se preocupan mas por el dinero "en dolares" que están generando en la actualidad, y no en el potencial de crecimiento de la moneda a lo largo del plazo , solo las personas que verdaderamente creen en este proyecto y no paran de crecer junto con la comunidad, verán los resultados de ser constantes y pacientes ( el ejemplos mas claro es que hace aproximadamente un mes atrás los VIBES oscilaban en los 0,12 y 0,10 USDT) Y el día de hoy están a 0,05 USDT , lo cual para las personas que no son conscientes de como funciona el mundo cripto, se desmotivan y dejen de crear contenido porque no cumple sus expectativas a corto plazo. (PERO SE ARREPENTIRÁN) cuando el mercado mundial se estabilice y ellos dejaron pasar la oportunidad de seguir generando ingresos cuando el mercado estaba a la baja, y aquellas personas constante que siguieron creando contenido y holdeando el token verán los beneficos a largo plazo cuando los VIBES revienten en su maximo historico y con el favor de dios y las personas de la comunidad en crecimiento en algunos años pueda llegar a tener un valor de 1 USDT o incluso mas.
