RE: Morning Run: parkrun #128 at Henlow Bridge Lakes

There are some advantages of living in the sticks. I've been to some big parkruns and you are fighting through the crowd to get anywhere. We just need a few more people to volunteer every few weeks.

I think one day I would like to move to the sticks. recently at my work the option of working remotely for some level of decreased salary was somewhat offered up. I think I would like to look into it so that I can be somewhere like where you are and be able to get out in nature more often than I do. In a metro area our tiny bit of "nature" is cultivated and usually completely mobbed with so many people that it doesn't even seem like you are outdoors.

There's not much real 'wild' around here as it's mostly farmed, but you can get away from roads and buildings for a bit and there is some wildlife around. I find that beneficial. I'm not a big fan of cities, but we can get to some easily from here. I can be in central London in an hour. That is an issue as lots of other people want to work there and live out here, so many more homes are being built in the countryside.
