This year taught me to be myself

lt is true that we learned from people, either on the role they have already passed through or their opinion about things, the deal is, it helps us to get to the bottom of what we wanted to do, than researching on the knowledge from scratch.

Speaking of myself, l have been taught a lot this year and the lesson they left me with is to be myself, do what I know how to do, as far as lt's giving me the joy I need and overlooked the activities that is not for me, because we can not be everybody.

As an individual, we all have the things we cherished, if it wasn't like this, we would have seen more than enough people wanting to do the same occupation because that is what they like.

But because we differs in likeness, we do not have such problems, therefore, at any point a person installed this mindset of wanting to do something because another person ls doing lt even when he/she does not like lt, i am sure that person would hardly find happiness within his/herself, because it doesn't have to be like that.

Everything we do, either occupation, side hustle or maybe, a casual job pays, but the deal is, the things people do pay on a different times and occasion.

For the facts that, MR. A has gotten himself a brand new motorcycle should not make MR. B to start asking when will his turn come and be bothering his/herself over lt, because the time he/she is looking for would surely come.

A quick intro should be when he tried to understand if they have the same vision, aspirations of people in life are some reasons why we see people who we thought are rich still working everyday.

The deal is, he/she has not gotten theirself at where they want to be. once a man told me that, the greatest mistakes people seems to make in life isn't about doing a job that they are not paid a large sum of money but showing less interest on the things they do.

As l do not let a phrase like it passed by without grabbing the full understanding, l did asked, what make him said that, "lt doesn't matter the amount that people are been paid on their job, but their liking for lt matters".

He therefore went on to tell me that, when he was at the age of sixteen, he was ln secondary school and things were not so bountiful for his family, but he manage to write his WAEC, and merit lt, but he did not proceed to the university.

Him and his friend they started nursing of palm trees seedlings, at the beginning lt was a business he did and people barely buy from him, he said he used to work other casual work to support himself, but his friend left the business and began doing something else, yet he nevermind, no matter the low patronage he was having on the business.

But as times goes on, people start buying from him, and today he supply palm tree seedlings to people who buys in large quantities and he has so many people working for him.

He make me to understand that everything we do have time and season, once the time for that thing comes, those who were lnto lt would see gain.

And just like that I’ve learned another thing for myself. He was right. Everything has its own time and season and when that time comes, those who were patient enough to wait will reap what they sowed.

Perfectly said, things in life isn't one sided, it rotate, and for those who bear the challenges and hold on, will be so proud of what they have accomplished.

Thank you so much @abenad for your exceptional contribution, you did great, cheers.
