It has been a while since I created a drawing work. In my mind, I distinguish between “works on wooden panels,” which include collages with thick acrylic paint, and “drawings on paper,” which include collages.
Recently, painting materials and supports have become more expensive, and wooden panels in particular are bulky, so it has become difficult to increase the number of works on wooden panels. I still continue to paint more and more.

At the same time, I decided to increase the number of works on paper. I think I was doing one drawing a day around 2015. However, once I started drawing my current wooden panel works, I stopped drawing so much. From now on, I would like to do a few more drawings a week.

However, it is the works on wooden panels that give me a greater sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. That is why I cannot stop drawing on wooden panels.

久しぶりにドローイング作品を創りました。私の中でアクリル絵具の厚塗りにコラージュを含める作品は「木製パネルに描く作品」ドローイング作品は「紙に描く作品」と区別しています。
最近は画材や支持体も値段が高くなったし、特に木製パネルはかさばるしで、木製パネルに描く作品をなかなか増やせなくなりました。それでもどんどん描きますけど。

それと並行して、紙に描く作品を増やすことにしました。確か2015年頃は1日1枚ドローイングを描いていたような気がします。ただ、今の木製パネルの作品を描き出すとあまりドローイングを描かなくなってしまいました。今後はもう少し、週に2～3枚は描きたいと思います。

ただ、充実感とか達成感をより多く感じられるのは、やっぱり木製パネルに描く作品なのです。だから木製パネルに描くのはやめられません。
