I currently maintain several dozen properties, most of which are rented, and I can assure you that working with a jackhammer on Monday, belly crawling under another home later that day, filling potholes in a driveway yesterday, and the constant attention to keeping the properties clean of garbage that tenants just fling out of their cars or drop instead of dumping in a proper receptacle very much resembles actual work.
