RE: Not My Meme! #845

You have clearly never maintained a rental property, and whoever believes that meme has no idea which end of a hammer to hold. I currently maintain several dozen properties, most of which are rented, and I can assure you that working with a jackhammer on Monday, belly crawling under another home later that day, filling potholes in a driveway yesterday, and the constant attention to keeping the properties clean of garbage that tenants just fling out of their cars or drop instead of dumping in a proper receptacle very much resembles actual work.

It is actually retarded to think renting a property is somehow just minting money out of thin air. Only someone that has never undertaken the blood, sweat, and tears necessary to purchase, market, and maintain real property could be so ignorant.

Thanks!

Yes, property management can be a job, but owning without working is a different matter.

The way it was explained to me was that I didn't make the hammer that built 'my' house, I didn't drain the rubber tree that makes up my tires, I didn't butcher the cow that my cobbler turned into the shoes on my feet, in fact, there is nothing, not one thing in my life that was made solely and distinctly by me alone, ergo, all that I have, and all that I can have, comes as a result of the workers before me doing the work that they did.

To think that something is exclusively mine is to deny ownership of all the people who did work to get me to the point I am at.

This is why Property is Theft.

We are each obligated to do one share of the work and in return we get one share of all the labor.
What that means will vary, individually.
The doctor will not wait in line at the theatre.
The soldier will never have to pay for a beer.
Local heroes will get all the girls.
Local bums might get some, too.
But, only on the off chance that they turn out some 'good' kids.

No man is, nor can be, an island.
You can find them, you can live like you are on one, but you can't deny your parents contribution.
I'd be surprised to find many folks that live with zero crapitalust interactions.
It can be done, but most won't.

This is very true. However, those blessings don't just land on us like coconuts out of a tree. We have to undertake to exchange for them. Real property is highly desirable, and a lot must be exchanged for it. What you have earned is actually and literally wholly and completely yours, and to claim you have stolen it is a lie of the devil. Just plug your ears and say 'Lalalalala' really loud, and eventually the liars will go away.

"...zero crapitalust interactions..."

No living thing can. However, what you really mean is no financial interactions, because even Communists need to buy bread, or buy the ingredients and make it with a stove they bought and some power they also buy. Every microbe that divides to create a fresh copy of it invests capital to profit. Life itself is Capitalism.

You don't want to hear that. The real enemy you should be fighting is Centralization, which is the real reason real Communism has never been tried, just as it's the real reason real Capitalism hasn't either, at least by any financial system.

Okay, you can dodge and weave, cope and seethe now.

Communists need to buy bread,

No, in fact there is a book that addresses specifically this.
Communists don't use money.
This is how we know https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/emma-goldman-there-is-no-communism-in-russia.

The real enemy you should be fighting is Centralization,

No, the 'enemy' is the idea that these people get to kill those people because reasons.
As long as people accept that rule by force is acceptable we will always be ruled over as slave of those the most effective at hiding their violence.

Okay, you can dodge and weave, cope and seethe now.

No need, I'm right.
Our disagreement is largely semantic and academic.
Sound money goes a long ways towards alleviating the need to illustrate the differences between an-com and crapitalism, but the fact remains, communism shares so that none live in poverty and crapitalism will starve you outside overflowing warehouses.

"...communism shares..."

No, it doesn't. It may sometimes start out that way, but sooner or later someone takes the money, or starts an institution, and that inherently corrupts the process by it's agents seeking to aggrandize it's power, and that becomes a vector for corruption, and before you know it Bob's your uncle and you have overlords and crime bosses running things again. Now, I'm not saying non-communist government is any better, but I am saying that some magic word isn't salvation.

Salvation comes from freedom, and that comes from being independently able to produce wealth and exchange it as you please, without being a subsidiary of a corrupt institution or subjugated to overlords parasitizing your production. Decentralization, not politics, is freedom, and centralization, of Communism, and everything else, is slavery.

Man, I wish you would read those books I keep pushing, the education you have gotten from your owners purposely obfuscates the real meanings of the words.

What better way to hide the doorway out of enslavement than by so vilifying the terms needed to escape that one would never even think of adopting what was needed to escape the mental enslavement?

Here we are.
Read the books, please.
Attain the concepts.
Realize, not only that you are wrong, but that you have been misled to the wrong conclusions by people that gain their power by your ignorance.

We have to have workers, we don't have to have dollars.™

On any given tuesday the workers can simply continue to produce the world's goods and refuse to play the crapitalusts' game of money majick.
The world will not only continue consumption, but will do it with leisure time that used to have to be spent in wage slavery to slake the crapitalusts' greed.

IF your boss isn't making, at least, double your wages in profits, he will soon be bankrupt.
It's just how crapitalust enslavement works.

Or, you can set me straight by debunking the math of chapter nine of this book.
