Yeah! I learned a technique from my Mum of how to make it not slimy. Just keep cooking it until the slime disappears.

It works like how we cook mushrooms. At the beginning it'll realise it's moisture then after cooking it for some time, the moisture will evaporate or soak back up into the mushrooms. I guess it's how it works with the slime of okra too.
