Carnivals are approaching and this week many activities are taking place in the educational institutions. Today was scheduled to perform the circuit parade of the institutions that make up the educational circuit.

Ya se acercan los carnavales y está semana se lleva a cabo muchas actividades en las instituciones educativas. Hoy se tenía previsto realizar el desfile circuital de las instituciones que conforman ese circuito educativo.

This is the second year that the carnival parade is held in this way. Only two institutions participated. It had to be at the same time of entry, however the parade was scheduled to start at 8:00 am, but at this time there were still not many students.

Este es el segundo año que se realiza desfile de carnaval de esta manera. En dónde solo dos instituciones participaron. Tenía que estar a la misma hora de entrada, sin embargo el desfile se tenía previsto para arrancar a las 8:00am,; pero a esta hora todavía no se contaba con muchos estudiantes.

It was felt for a moment that there was no motivation to participate. In fact, many students did not want to dress up and went in their sports uniforms.

Se sintió por un momento que no había motivación de participar. De hecho muchos estudiantes, no quisieron disfrazar y fueron con su uniforme deportivo.

My son, despite being one of the big kids, likes to dress up, but this time I bought him only a monster mask. Kids like this kind of masks. Right now they are a good option because they are quite economical; I bought them for only $2.5.

Mi hijo a pesar de ser de los niños grandes, le gusta disfrazarse, pero en esta oportunidad le compré solo una máscara de monstruo. A los niños les gusta este tipo de máscaras. Ahorita son una buena opción por ser bastante económica; ya que con solo 2,5$ la compré.

The parade started almost at 9 in the morning, at this time we already had a lot more children, where there were costumes of witches, Indians, queens, superheroes. The truth is that there was no theme as such, but they could attend with the costume they have. This was to avoid extra expenses.

En fin el desfile empezó casi a las 9 de la mañana, a esta hora ya teníamos mucho más niños, dónde habían disfraces de brujitas, indios,reinas, superhéroes. Lo cierto es que no había una temática como tal, sino que podían asistir con el disfraz que tengan. Esto para evitar gastos extra.

The route was through the same community, we had a musical band to liven up the parade. It was quite short, since it lasted approximately 30 minutes, and the sun at this time was quite strong since it is very hot in my area.

El recorrido fue por la misma comunidad, llevábamos una banda musical, para animar el desfile. Fue bastante corto, ya que duró aproximadamente 30 minutos.El sol a esta hora era bastante fuerte ya que por mi localidad está haciendo un calor muy grande.

Today was fulfilled with this circular parade, but will not participate in the municipal parade tomorrow. To close the morning we finished with sports and recreational activities for the students. And a group of teachers went to prepare the main decoration for tomorrow, when the carnival party will take place and we will go on vacation.

Hoy se cumplió con este desfile circuital, pero no se participará en el desfile municipal el día de mañana. Para cerrar la mañana se culminó con actividades deportivas y recreativas para los estudiantes. Y un grupo de docentes nos fuimos a preparar la decoración principal para el día de mañana que se realizará la fiesta de carnaval y nos vamos de vacaciones.

Creo fundamental en que los chicos participen de estos eventos educativos. Tienen que ver con su formación, descubrirse, socializar y sobre todo, mantener viva nuestra cultura. Genial, adquirir la máscara.
