What an incredibly massive shopping center indeed @belkyscabrera. Your previous architectural tour of its exterior features was already mind-blowing. And now its interior spaces are equally spectacular as well. Not sure if you've already told us, but I'm simply curious about the word "Orinokia" and its origins. I wonder where it came from? ☺️

Hi @storiesoferne, the Orinokia shopping center, is a great architectural work of the city, the interior design is amazing; the origin of the name is related to the Orinoco river which is the largest river in Venezuela and crosses much of Bolivar state, where the city of Puerto Ordaz is located.
Greetings!
Oh that's wonderful. Orinokia is certainly an awesome name, paying tribute to the natural treasures of Venezuela and the amazing mall that integrated its interesting origin into its remarkable architecture. Happy and blessed Sunday @belkyscabrera! ☺️
Thanks for Elevating Architecture and Design with Hive!
In fact the name Orinokia, also carries the second bridge of the Orinoco River, the names of the squares and sectors of the mall correspond to the natural resources of Bolivar state; minerals and hydric, Caroni is a river, Meru is part of the name of Angel Falls in the indigenous language (Churun Meru), the mall pays tribute to the resources of the region, the waterfalls on the outside are inspired by the tepuis. 😊🤗
Have a great week @storiesoferne!
Amazing! Your valuable information is sure proof that lots of iconic Venezuelan landmarks, most importantly this outstanding mall, have sourced their architectural inspirations from the vast richness of the country's natural resources. Thank you for opening our eyes to her marvelous beauty. Cheers! ☺️
