First let me say a big thank you to @merit.ahama and @khaleesii(forgive a sister) for tagging me to join this brilliant initiative. Also, thank you to the sponsors. This is definitely a great way to get to know Hivers better.
I love to read. I enjoy it and it's the best way of escape for me. I look forward to any new book and I love being gifted books because for someone who loves to read, I get lazy buying it or procrastinate downloading.

This Initiative presented us with a few questions that I'll go ahead and answer...
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TIME OR PLACE TO READ?
I enjoy being alone. In fact, I love it. I don't do well in the presence of people and get really irritated when someone crashes my space.
My favorite place to read is in the comfort of my bedroom, dressed in just my underwear and a big shirt; covered with sheets. I enjoy the shadows of the four walls with my curtains drawn and the television turned off. If it's a novel, I get lost in time and sometimes forget to shower. Don't laugh 😒
WHAT MAKES YOU ENJOY A BOOK?
Hehehehehe. Okay. I read all sorts of books as long as my interest is piqued by either the synopsis or the cover. I don't have a particular reason why I enjoy a book. I just like to read. It's an avenue for escape and is rewarding with knowledge. I'm very introverted and if I'd have my way, I'd be indoor always with a book, naked and with a bottle of water. Get me a glass of coconut and pineapple juice too. I appreciate it. ❤️
DO YOU LIKE TO READ OUTDOORS, BEFORE BED OR ON THE BUS ON YOUR WAY TO WORK?
I love the comfort of my house and do pretty much everything there. If you ever come pay me a visit, I wouldn't be dressed properly and I would be reading if not cooking. I adore reading inside my house. The only outdoors I may enjoy is a secluded corner at the park or a hotel room. Like I said, I get irritated when disturbed and the last thing I want is having to look up from my book because someone needed to ask questions. And God give me patience when that someone refuses to actually go away...🙂
DO YOU FOCUS ON CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, THOUGHTFUL MESSAGES OR THE LEVEL OF INTRIGUE A PLOT GENERATES IN YOU?
I don't know if this means Character development in literature or literally but I do know I've been reading more self help books than usual. Why? I don't know. I have just been drinking every cup of liquid knowledge handed to me. One thing I think I may be trying to curb is my unstable emotions. I'm a sensitive person. The most sensitive I know but I don't show it. I hate feeling weak. So I've been reading and studying myself too to get a grasp on what I can do with a sea of emotions.

Also, I love to grow my Faith. I've read few faith filled books and my favorite is HOW TO MAKE YOUR FAITH WORK by Chris Oyakhilome. That book changed my life and my view on a lot of things. Also THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE by Rick Warren is another realm of faith building.
Also, when it comes to novels, I tend to feel too many emotions at once. I cry during sad scenes, laugh and even get really mad.
Reading The whole books in The Sterling Shore series by C.M Owens made me understand I love humor more than anything else in a plot. I laughed my head off reading TAMING A MAVERICK and I keep finding myself going back to LOVING WAR AND PERFECTLY TOXIC. I cried in IDENTICAL DISASTER and got unbelievably mad reading THE STERLING BOYS. It was a rollercoaster of emotions.
(Please don't try reading those books if you're not an erotic fan)
This is my entry to the contest and I invite @dreemsteem and @harlowjourney to join this initiative.
I never knew you are a fan of books. Hmm.. Good to know. So should I call you a book worm?.. 😂 😂..
I didn't read the pilgrim's progress but saw the movie. It was indeed a master piece. It makes you think about your life to see if you are on the right track.
Great to see you answered these questions perfectly. I hope to also write on this... Lets see how it goes.
I prefer the book of the pilgrims progress. It is more detailed and gives insight into his life. Also, that's the advanced edition 😀
@tipu curate
Upvoted 👌 (Mana: 0/79) Liquid rewards.
Thank you. For reading too❤️
Wonderful, thank goodness I invited you... So you love books like this too, we're getting to know ourselves really well as time progresses.
You and your alone time to read seem like a must o, please have patient with me if I ask you question while reading ehn 🙄
Those collections of books are kinda familiar especially the pilgrim's progress.
Lovely entry dear, all the best
Lol. Ehn... If you come with a peace offering of good food, I'll drop my book for you.
Good food? That's easy, hope you like chicken Egusi soup with semovita 😃
It's the chicken that already got to me 🤤. Please come and disturb me with a plate of it.
😂 Okay I knew I'll get you with that. I'm coming with my questions and chicken 😋
Lmao. You're very much welcome
I watched the Pilgrims progress, urghh it was a great cartoon.
I would be checking out these books asap especially the erotic ones 😆
Ehen? Pilgrims progress has a cartoon? I watched the movie.
Those are only a few of that genre I have read. C.M Owens novels are always filled with humor, romance and passion.
Victoria Quinn is also an erotic romance author but her books tend to hold more possessive and billionaire themes. Sometimes dark too.
I also love Kresley Cole. Three of my favorite books of hers are THE PROFESSIONAL 1, 2 & 3, THE MASTER AND THE PLAYER.
The Player is my favorite book among that Series. Enjoy!
Yeah, it has a cartoon, I haven't watched the movie.
Thank you for the book recommendation, I will check them out.
Movies and books, which is your favorite?
Definitely books. I haven't seen a movie in months and I don't care
Oh ok. Hope you will read my book when I finally publish. But you will have to buy.
Hmm, what a way to read. I never second guessed that you were a reader. The way you write actually shows it all.
People who tend to read books have a nice way of communicating, it comes natural.
Sounds like the kind of thing I'll do haha. When they're too many distractions, I tend to just cover book and keep to read later, no joy.
That's the funny thing about reading, it just takes you into their world and you tend to feel a lot than you'll ever imagine
I wouldn't say I'm an avid reader but i do enjoy it
The same reason I started reading self-improvement books even when I generally do not like non-fiction. But I personally prefer articles when it comes to self-improvement.
Great entry!
Thank you for reading. 😀
First of all 🥳🥳🥳 to finding another bed reading mate lol and I think sometimes a good story can drag you in so deep you forget just about everything else, not limited to bathing.
I got into reading as a child because I like being around others so my book became my escape so I do understand when they need to get lost in the world of friction.
Beautiful entry and Good luck on the contest.
Thank you so much 😩❤️
Frown your face all you want. I am laughing 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Should I order for you? 😁
Please Lord, let me have the chance to visit her one of these days so that I can irritate her with my presence and questionings 😂😂😂
Oh my, I would love to see you display some of these emotions.
Did I hear someone mention erotic? Oh my, I would love to read those books. Can I download them online?
If there is someone that would laugh, I knew it would be you 🙄
Abeg help a sister 😩
I rebuke every spirit of wahalaness
You'd just laugh which is what I know you want to do 🙄
Kodeyi!!!😂... Yes you can download them online. I use the Light Reader app though.
Hahahaha.... Lemme ooooo 😂😂😂
Eh ya, the wind is bringing it 🤣🤣🤣
Jesu.... She just coined her own words 😅😅😅... Wahalaness 😂😂
Of course 😄😄😄😄
If my pastor coin words for you ehn...
Lol
A lot of my close friends have come to realize that gifting me books will leave a lating memory of that gift in my mind. I share in this love for gifted books as well. That's how I amassed a number of books today.
This is so key. I have read the Purpose driven life by Rick Warren but I am yet to read How to make your faith work by Chris Oyakhilome. These books really help you put things into perspective.
Lovely post @deraaa
Oh what a contest, I guess we would be learning more about each other, and getting to know interesting books and pointers to which one we would like to read.
Yes... thank you so much for reading 😊❤️
