Then you read the novel as a Fremen or an Atreides would have, always standing in attention. Very commendable, I'd say!

Paul is a magnificently complete character. I was expecting his end, so I wasn't as shocked by it as I was by Alia's demise, that was mindblowing.

You know one of the things i really enjoyed about the book were the quotations in every chapter's beginning. Those were magnificently atmospheric. I'm really gonna have to get me a copy of Dune soon.
