A few weeks ago I told you my opinion about the last Lord of the Rings book, a trilogy that most people know today, even if they've only heard of it once. However, for the story told in those three books to take place there was another story first, that of Bilbo Baggins, and it is precisely the one told in the book The Hobbit of which I want to give you my opinion without spoilers.

Hello all Hive Book Club friends, I hope you are doing well today...this time I want to share with you a new review with all my thoughts on Cristine Riccio's novel Again, But Better. This is a book that tries to, at the very least, resonate in an interesting way with its potential audience, which is young adults who feel out of place or struggle to fit in during those confusing and transient years of early adulthood. In this story we meet the protagonist, Shane, who is the embodiment of the shyness and awkwardness that many people have surely experienced, especially those who feel constant pressure to follow paths they are not really passionate about and end up following them because it is something they think they have to do because they lack the courage to follow their own dreams... readers who have felt the weight of their parents' expectations, or perhaps have dealt with loneliness wishing for a second chance, will probably see themselves reflected in this protagonist...

Hello book lovers 📚🍁🍂.Today I bring you a bit of my digital book, read in this month of October, a month for me long and full of that mysterious essence, being the month of halloween. 🎃Believe me I was looking for horror, horror between pages, I love this genre as well as romance and suspense and a fellow reader recommended me this book, 😱 a total psychological horror by the hand of the famous writer Stephen king Misery.nstantly the cover hooked me, I knew it was pure terror and that I would not be disappointed, so I started reading this book of 399 pages, in Spanish language that tells one of the best stories I've read.

As humans, our existence is plagued by journeys of self discovery, connection and acceptance, leading us to search for new identities. Identity is an important aspect of human life - it is what defines us. Consider a child who grows up under the shed of their parents, sulking under their mother's arms as a baby and listening to their father’s advice as a boy. As he grows older, he matures into a man who makes decisions by himself and for himself, thereby changing his identity. Picture this: a lady grows up in an African country, listening to African songs, eating African foods and playing with African friends. She travels abroad for whatever reasons, to a foreign land where she encounters new people, new food and makes new friends. Her former identity clashes with her new one. These conflicts are what we call the complexities of displaced identity.

Hello Hello Community! ✨, after a season of fantasy readings, which also are not yet finished stories, it's time to read something lighter and better yet, self-conclusive 💕, so I went to my list of books to read and I took the story I'll talk about today, it mainly caught my attention for two reasons, the first is the author as I have already read books by her that I have loved and I knew this will not be the exception, and secondly for the premise of the story, a girl who loves romantic comedies? obviously they mean me 🤣, and it's for that reason that today I'm going to tell you about Better Than the Movies.

Yayyy, so I finally get to talk about these books. So, I’ve said before that for me to search for a second book of a particular author, it must mean I was impressed with the first one. I know the name, “billionaire” already turned a lot of people off, because a lot of us are over the whole billionaire genre but hear me out!! Nigerian billionaire genre?? I’m sure you didn’t know about it.I’m reviewing two books by the same author- Tomilola Coco Adeyemo but I don’t know which of the books to start from, because there was one I enjoyed and there was one that I didn’t enjoy so much. Making it easier for myself, I’ll just start from the order with which I read them.
What is Hive Book Club?
Hive Book Club is a community made by book lovers, for book lovers. A place where the chaotic minds of writers may punch away words from their keyboards as they share their writing adventures. Where passionate book collectors may rummage through their stacks of books to share and review their latest additions. Outside of our regular curation process, we may create contests for our community to participate in, and earn even more from their posts. If you have a certain theme for a future contest you would like to see, let us know! Be sure to check with us frequently on our various social media platforms to avoid missing out!
How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?
For those of you curious as to how you may have been chosen or would like to be chosen in the future in one of these compilations: we scan through the community and read the many posts that the community members write. We then select four or five posts that we believe meet certain criteria and are worthy of sharing with the rest of the community. We aim to keep these selections diverse in style, from writing skills or subject matter.
Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually handpick the posts. Some factors include the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort. If we choose you, or you happen to stumble across these highlights, please do check out the other posts we feature, and contribute to their curation and engagement!
