RE: Hive Book Club Highlight #322

in Hive Book Club2 months ago

What is the space-time setting I prefer in the books I read? Good question. I hadn't stopped to think about this. But without dwelling on it too much, I think it's indifferent to me. Don't get me wrong. What I'm trying to say is that the ones that catch my attention the most are the ones that depend on the subjectivity of the people, and therefore, deal with universal themes outside of cultural anchorage and determinants in time and space. That is to say, applicable to any society and time. The past, present or future indistinct before the reality of the human soul. If it is well told and described internally and eternally, it will surely delight me and satisfy my expectations, even surprise me. That is why so far this year, I am trying to access works outside my socio-cultural context. It is discovered that there is more that unites us than separates us. Perhaps, if it were possible to approach other extra-planetary or dimensional cultures, I could be surprised. I am grateful that we have imagination as an ally.

Thank you for this awesome answer. It would have been really awesome if you could also write a post abut it. This week, our prompt is technology, we look forward seeing you around in the community. Greetings!

Technology! A topic that unites us and gives us a lot to talk about, to digress. I am encouraged to write a post on this and concerning books.

Greetings.
